So, I was supposed to do one of these last week. And then I almost forgot tonight, too. It'll have to be a short one; my bed beckons.

As you may have seen in previous posts, I've had to cut back on how much work I do on Starmind due to my writing time being limited. But cut back is all I've done, and I hope to get the first chapter of book 2 up on Wednesday.

As for my two main series, I've decided that what's currently book 5 of Draka is running way too long. It's already at 220k words, and rounding it off where I am right now is proving tricky. My plan at the moment is to revise so that it ends right around the beginning of the conclave, which would put it at a similar length to the previous books in the series. Splinter Angel Book 3, on the other hand, has come to a fairly natural end - or at least I thought so. I started Book 4 on Tuesday! Now I just need to get to revising Book 3 for submission...

Oh, and as you may see I've also written a bit on A Lady of Wealth and Cultivation. Sometimes I just need something completely different to build some momentum, you know? Expect chapter 5 on Thursday of this week or the next.
