Added 2025-01-16 16:54:04 +0000 UTCI figured it's time for a dragon, so here she is :3 She has crystalline cracks on her body and horns, and a general liking for crystal-adorned items. And probably quite the bratty personality...

When she rests or meditates, she slows time and solidifies it into crystals on the rings around her. The sizes of the crystals represent how much temporal power she has stored. When she feels the need to warp time around herself the crystals and her markings that match their color begin to glow. This gives her the ability to move through spacetime causing her to seem to move very rapidly, or slow others to a stop. I would know. I gazed upon her and froze until just now, time warped. Thankfully she freed me from my time prison before the month became February.

Those affected by her spell would aid in her in collecting crystals to grow her hoard and magical trinkets to increase her power.

Her jewelry is as much about keeping that power in check when she loses a bit of control over it as it is about looking good. That being said, I think she would try to avoid using her magic very often- The static makes her hair poof out!

2025-01-21 16:19:05 +0000 UTCHer general appearance gives a mystical yet naturally inclined linage: As the apex of the life cycle of an ecosystem her and her family's powers align with the balance of nature, manifesting in small but rippling effects such as healing and restoring fauna. Additionally for this character specifically a quirk to her specific power is the health of geology; restoring water springs, limiting rock face degradation and so on. (Whether of not she lives up to these duties or just uses them for her own convenience however is up for debate :3)

The quality of the material determines how brittle or tough the growths are, letting her use them as crafting material for additional accessories or even, if push comes to shove, as makeshift shields and weapons in combat, given she can coax them into specific shapes and sizes.

So it's not unprecedented that the one before us is a doctor of a sorts, her cracked horns allow her magics to escape her to help with the healing process. She loves showing the glowing to small children who need help getting over a cold and to the elderly who wish to be eased and cured of the pains of aging. She goes from town to town helping cure those who need it all the while studying new ways to use the magics of healing to help others. She is happy to help with her healing magics... but don't be fooled, she is not to be trifled with.

However they affect her in cute ways, she can feel the emotions of those around her, particularly about her, and she flusters easily, getting bashful and bratty, with pebbles and other small things being lifted by TK like an aura. Her crystal bits also brighten and change colors like a mood-ring.

She'd be able to essentially violate the laws of thermodynamics and be able to create anything from nothing, destroy anything, or to transmute objects/things into other objects/things without conserving matter or energy. Normally this wouldnt be able to be used offensively beyond just blinding someone. She uses the crystals on her outfit to magnify and direct the light into more direct beams, that can produce heat and such

It's affected by proximity (so, like, if she has a melancholy person on her left and a happy person on her right, she'd have a blue-ish fade on her left and an orange/yellow on her right). She can use her magic to soothe erratic emotions back to a baseline.

She can 'feel' the path to whatever she's seeking through both the crystals on her body and the ones on her rings, locating anything from lost house keys to ancient and lost relics with great precision. These abilities are always in demand, with both adventurers on great quests and villagers in the town around her lair seeking her aid. Unfortunately, her personality isn't quite as nice as her skills- she's a totally lazy brat, often demanding outlandish payments, belly rubs, entertainment- or even adding a few stops the path she gives to adventurers so they'll stumble across some other things she wants on their journey and bring them back. Despite it all, she is a respected figure in her region, seen as both a guardian and a sage.

The more mana crystal/gem has the more her horns glow and crystals on her glow. If you have any she will try her best to steal them.(Aka she is a crystal radar.)

The cracks in her body design represent this, as she would have the extraordinary ability to instantly repair anything broken, by sealing them together with a special blue gold she naturally produces from her body that flows off of her fingertips into the cracks.

The reason why she collection those crystals is because her magic is linked to them: she can summon from any crystal that isn't one of her natural body or horn crack a Crystalian, spirit living in said crystal. Each type of crystal has it own crystalian, and... Like some with pokemons... She want to complete her collection and brag about it.

Sylvia (that's her name) can infuse crystals of a nearby mine with magic so that voice can be send between two of them. These always work as a pair. Like a fantasy walkie talkie. To start the call you shake one of them and the other starts ringing. When the other person picks up the crystal the call starts. Being a dragon Sylvia has also the advantage to deliver the crystal to both clients herself via flight.

This ability is irreversible, but since turning into a crystal is basically a form of immortality, some people try to ask her to turn themselves into crystals by giving her gift.

The downside is, that each time she steps through a gate, a random part of her is mirrored on anyone around both when she disappeared and where she reappeared. E.g. she might step through a gate, people around her might get duplicate of her tail, and anyone near the emergence gate might get duplicate of her breasts and horns.

The crystals on her body conduct static from the environment at will and she can unleash a pulse of electricty, or draw in metals or an EMP. Lastly I would suggest she can eat crystals and gain traits and powers based on the type of crystal it was and maybe refuse to eat certain kinds she dislikes to be in line with a somewhat bratty personality.

She can use this ability to trap or corral people if she wants... but mostly she uses it to snack on the crystals themselves. They taste different depending on the ground!
