Wrapping shit up at the old apartment has been a real bitch and a half. Saturday was my last day in which I would go turn in my keys. The website lists their front office opening at 10 AM. I get there at 10 AM and they're closed... Instead they didn't open up till noon. Super annoying! To kill time I went on a walk and then got lunch. Splurged on a Mama's Pizza buffet because their pizza is awesome and I was in no mood to worry about calories. I also took the time to do a video tour of the apartment while I still had the key to log all the damages. I had a hunch that I wouldn't have a exit tour so thought it might be best to have a record on hand, along with my attempt at going to turn in my keys only to have the office closed. Sure enough when I finally did turn in my keys they just took em, had me write down a forwarding address, and that was it! Next issue was at the start of October they tried to charge me for another full month of rent. $1600. I was all "fuuuuuuuuuuck that!" and sent off an email that never got a response from them. This morning I sent another along with a photo of my intent to move form that had the front office's signature on it. Still no reply. Most recently I checked the website and they got it partially fixed. They have the fees for the previous months utilities since they've always been pretty mediocre with dealing with em, having to pay for months ago instead of the most recent one. But along with the bills for previous months utilities they're still trying to charge me for the first two days of October. Again, my last day was the 28th, so I wouldn't have been able to get in even if I wanted to. Plus a partial fee for month-to-month rent, plus partial fee for internet for these two days, partial payment for my old parking pass. At this point I'm debating whether to pay it so as not to deal with it. It'll be roughly around $100 but I really don't feel like continuing with this bullshit. In other news hell week is next week! Instead of the usual pinups I'm just gonna shoot for getting a page done since we had a break not that long ago. Worst case scenario it might be a day late depending on how busy it gets at work.
