Hoooooow's it going eeeeeeveryone?! Doing good? Survived the first half of the week! I sure hope so! Had my appointment at the clinic on Saturday which went pretty well. The nurse was different this time around as the previous person who I always saw I think left as they were moving? Forget exactly as they sent a farewell message to all their patients and its been a hot few months. Anywho, new nurse was alright. Not as talkative as the previous nurse which I thought was alright since I'm not much of a talker when face to face anyway. I'll engage in conversation, don't get me wrong, but I typically let whoever I'm seeing be the one to initiate and lead where our conversations go. One annoying bit was at the end when they set the appointment for my next televisit appointment with the doctor to go over the results before the appointment for when I come in and get my blood drawn. This was an issue because every time I've gone I've went on a Saturday, saying that I prefer coming in on Saturdays so as to not skip out on work. Televists are fine since I can just go into the plate making room for privacy. But when the nurse was setting up my appointment they were trying to have me come in Thursday, which I corrected and said I'd prefer Saturday. They then explained that there might be a chance that the results might not be ready by the televisit. I thought to myself "....Theeeeeen schedule that before the televisit so this isn't an issue? Or change the day I have the televisit?" She left it alone. WELP! I'm sure it'll be fine as the results typically come in pretty quickly. Anyway, tomorrow I'm driving to Waco to spend time with family as they rented a AirBNB! They technically went this afternoon but I stayed back since I didn't have enough vacation hours to cover an entire trip. My vacation hours refill a year after employment so they don't come in until end of next month. Also I don't want to stay in a AirBNB. BUT I'll gladly visit for the day! Afterward I plan to drive home that night! About 2 hour drive there and 2 hour back. It'll be long, but I've done worse with round trips to College Station, which were 3 hours there and 3 hours back. There was an audible sale a month ago that had the first volume of the audio book for Full Metal Panic for $5, so I grabbed it and have been sitting on it. I'll be popping at on for the drive. It's gonna be fun! Debating whether I should bring the ipad to do a little comic work since I won't be able to partake in much of anything outside in the sun due to laser hair removal appointment on Saturday. Don't want to get sunburned! Figured when they're all swimming I'll be productive. Either that or nap I guess. Anywho, catch y'all next week!
