No Comic Update Tonight
Added 2022-03-07 05:17:08 +0000 UTCThere isn't going to be a comic update tonight. The best excuse I could say is that I didn't draw the roughs on Friday, so I didn't have anything to ink tonight. I mean, I could've done them yesterday, or do both the roughs and inking tonight. Not like I haven't done that before.
My only explanation, as I mentioned on the Discord server was "I'm feeling really good today. I'm gonna go on a walk and play Elden Ring."
I know. It's selfish and stupid. And this brings up a dumb fallacy of "I'm busy and feeling ultra depressed = delay in comic. I have free time and feel really good and enjoying life = delay in comic."
But I really was in a good mood today! I took a photo of myself on my walk to mark the occasion on Discord (warning: you'll see my ugly mug https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/363256071982284800/950145515608236092/PXL_20220306_213806444.jpg)! I went to the store and bought a bag of Easter themed trail mix that might as well just be candy! I saw pebbles! Truly a nice afternoon when I typically will be climbing into bed for a several hour nap before doing comic work.
I wound up taking a nap anyway though, albeit an hour and a half later than usual. Dreamed about music that sounded like it came from Ys except it was entirely original and I wouldn't be able to hum the tune to save my life now.
Also, the one stray cat who always runs off is starting to get more accustomed to me. I can kneel down while it's far off and it'll come over to get pets from me. Hooray!
First weekend in a while where I didn't lounge around and sleep through most of it out of some sort of depressive state.
