Don't really have much to say tonight. Guess I'll try to think of random stuff to talk about. Visited my sister and the nieces yesterday for a few hours and saw the movie Vivo. I did not like it much. Probably a C- to C. Not really a fan of Sony Pictures animated films. Was in the mood to play a Breath of the Wild type game without simply replaying Breath of the Wild, so I downloaded Genshin Impact. Controls aren't as tight, and I'm stupid/simple minded so when there's a bunch of shit I have to focus on, like leveling up weapons and gear/checking stats constantly/seeing numerous currencies/etc. all at one time, I get confused easily. Being a gacha game there's loads of that junk. Also traversing feels a bit tedious unlike Zelda, which has various forms of getting around quickly, like shield surfing and riding a horse. Very pretty though. I might stick with it for a bit until the game starts forcing me to grind as to get me to pay money for it, in which I'll bail. Slept most of the day today, which felt nice. Started watching Jahy, and the crystal stuff annoys me for whatever reason. Or more so the fact the maid girl has a truckload, and how the crystal shards empowers all the demons, unless I misread that? I dunno. I feel like I'd enjoy it more if the crystals only affected Jahy and the maid girl didn't have a mountain of shards that who more or less has the same goal as Jahy does, but isn't sharing/offering them to Jahy despite serving her. I get it. Jahy is full of herself and doesn't want to ask/lower herself, but you'd think maid girl would go "Here you go!" and hand them over willingly? Also gives me the same feeling I get when watching Frasier, which can be hard to watch at times due to it relying on cringing at the behavior of the protagonists and their stupid decisions and thinking highly of themselves. Fine in small doses, but too much and I have to take a break. Target had the sodastream discounted to $26, so I grabbed one to make my own carbonated water and help cut back on my diet soda drinking. I don't plan to use it to make any actual sodas, though. For that I'll continue purchasing canned drinks. But maybe having the option to make a liter of carbonated water to drink, I won't be tempted to grab 10 cans of soda and drink them throught the day. Maybe cut down to 5 a day.
