Added 2020-05-25 07:26:37 +0000 UTCCafe des Gros Durs managed to get through Amazon's finicky quality check process and I was able to order a physical proof to look it over! We're getting closer to an actual release! Finally! Ultimately I had to recreate the inside of the book from scratch. Luckily I found an old template online that was made for CreateSpace that eased a lot of the pain. Then I spent a good chunk of my Saturday going through trial and error at changing things, fixing stupid mistakes, and learning stuff about printing books that I did not know about. The latter in which resulted in me going page by page to fix an issue, only to learn that the issue is actually intentional, requiring me to go back and undo all those changes. This has all been a good learning process. Rather all this trial and error shit happen with Cafe, which only has about 150 pages. If this were Magical Girl Dallas, which is gonna have a shit fuck ton more pages, and I'd gone and done all that crap, I would've shot myself. Anyway, once I get the proof in about a week or so, I'll check to see what all needs fixing. If it doesn't have much/fixes that don't require me to need to print a new proof, I'll send out a last call for people who want to have their name included in the book.
