A pretty picture to start an article is never a bad thing no?
At the start of the year, we had an idea: what if we had a community poll for a paint-along series?
Then I contracted covid.
And the idea had to take a back seat - but it's something I'm keen to introduce into the working nuts of bolts of the courses. So, what are they?
The Paint Along series is filmed in a more conversational manner, akin to a live stream. I explain the processes in real-time, and break the videos up into 30ish min videos for students to follow along, and paint alongside me. You can submit work to the facebook group for critique or simply potter alongside us.
The subject for the next video will be chosen by our community and the first video will go live around Halloween. Now, the rub - what model?
Lady Annika, the Thirsting Blade (all skill ranges)
Ennias Curse Born. (All skill ranges).
The Incredible Hulk (all skill ranges)
Dimitr Von Goray (expert - high intermediate).
Argel Tal (Intermediate).

I'll be painting that big bastard for sure. Argel Tal will be the subject for the paint along, and there will be a tutorial for the Hulk in the usual style.

I’d love to see something a bit different, like your take on Annika or Ennias… heck even Hulk would be interesting to see how you tackle all that green.
