Update Announcement + Sneak Peeks

Hello everyone! It's been a long time.

I'll get straight to the point. It's been a bit of a rough few months, I, Hatchet, the developer leading the project, had some personal IRL issues of a family nature, I won't be getting into detail as a lot of it is very personal. These issues were a major blow to the development of Maeve's Academy, but thankfully, I'm finally starting to shake off them. Once this update is released to the general public, I hope to be able to get back into the same routine of weekly updates. Now, after so much silence, everyone deserves to have at least a glimpse of the content we've made, so here it is. Some of them might be familiar to Patreons. It's a compilation of what we've done in the total time of development.

Revamped 4 sprites!

Two of those are simple reworks to update the models to the code that has been evolving, as well as for the customization system! Angelika and Elizabeth were reworked, however, they remain the same, especially Angelika, although small changes might come for her in the future. As for Elizabeth, her original design is intact, but the art style in her sprite was polished compared to her first version.

While the other two sprites...

Dahlia's design has been reworked in an attempt to keep part of her original physical charm, but giving her that "goth lolita" vibe that we didn't quite land with her original concept. Good news! We managed that, see for yourselves!

As for Maeve, the only character who went through multiple changes since the very first demo, however, we've finally found a design that represents what we wanted to achieve with her: A big, wide, tall mature woman who's still a very soft person despite her attributes, rescuing a couple of original parts such as a facial expression and her corset. Take a look!

Honestly, our favorite re-design so far, we firmly believe that she won't go through another change after this, and that most of you will love this one! Let us know what you think in the comments!

Spicy/Intimate Scenes

We've added a few spicy scenes. One of these is a rework of Annie's scene that we didn't like, so we improved it, and we think it will be a good standard for future scenes with this same angle. Not all of them are directly sexual, but they serve the purpose of giving you the player a good view of the girls. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!

Keep in mind, one of them still remains a WiP, we will wort with it before the update comes out for the public.

Locations

We've added a new location alongside Dahlia! Now you can visit her clothing shop once you meet her! Thanks Again to MistCaller for his work!

We've reworked the bathhouse to become a Hot Springs area outside the academy! We have big planes for this area in the future, you can guess what do we have in mind for it ;)

Story? Content?

This update has been more about the story, and events, trying to give more content to the girls, aiming for an improved build-up and a more detailed plot progression.

The upcoming public version of the game will have +30,000 words of pure dialogue and +60 event sketches, and the upcoming events will be divided this way:

• Many older events improved!

We apologize for such a long period wait, things were not easy for us these last months, but we gave our best so you can enjoy this update even if the numbers are not as high as we'd wanted to.
