Do you prefere a timeskip?
Added 2022-10-14 14:10:05 +0000 UTCIn the story Dragonlord, do you prefer a time skip towards the canon events? Or do you want a natural progression of events towards the canon events which starts at Jon Arryn's death.

I think a few time skips are necessary to get to the cannon and not draw it out too much. I would love if you limited the reactions to Harry’s magic to 1 chapter per every 5 because sometimes it can be viewed as a filler chapter. That 1 chapter can easily capture the reactions of all the players if you made it extra long.

2022-10-15 15:03:49 +0000 UTCIf you are not going to change anything, just give us a time skip. If the number of skulls gwtting stamped on, let alone butterflies is any indication, there should be many changes. If that’s the case, I would prefer atleast a summary of those changes

2022-10-14 17:40:38 +0000 UTCThen I would think it good to not skip it too much then :)

2022-10-14 15:14:47 +0000 UTCWell it depends - is anything Harry does during the time going to impact things? I’m assuming some of the things he’s working on now will come into play later…

2022-10-14 15:10:33 +0000 UTCA mix would be bad like a three year slip to 13 or 14 at some point would b great

2022-10-14 14:29:14 +0000 UTCIdk. I have a series of events planned. More like milestones for Harry to reach. I got a lot of messages from many patrons asking for a time skip which made me think it was a good idea. Once Harry settles the issue about the castle and the fleet at Sea Dragon Point, the rest of the story would be about the economic power of the North. After that canon events.

2022-10-14 14:27:06 +0000 UTCHow long would it take for Cannon to start if you didn’t timeskip?

2022-10-14 14:23:31 +0000 UTCNearly forgot about Oberyn. Yep. He needs some screen time. The fleet, castle and Oberyn.

2022-10-14 14:17:22 +0000 UTCHmm if it's so then I'm all for a timeskip. So long as everything is set up and I don't get whiplashed

2022-10-14 14:14:29 +0000 UTCI won't be doing it immediately. The fleet needs to be built as does the castle. After that, a couple of chapters to set the stage right before the time skip which would take the story near the events of canon.

2022-10-14 14:13:46 +0000 UTCA time skip is necessary but to the start of canon? That's too much of a rush
