Do you want Cerion to travel the Universe before or after the Chitauri attack?
Added 2021-12-04 07:31:37 +0000 UTCI had planned to make Cerion travel to the stars in 2001 or 2002 with a pause in his relationship with Jane. However, I've reconsidered on that plotline as it would be too much too soon. And suspending their relationship would be counterproductive in the long run.
Despite that, I have a possible way to incorporate space exploration after 2002 possibly in 2006 and onwards just before the Chitauri attack. This option will help me to build upon the flowering relationship between Jane and Cerion. It also means Cerion will have time to engage more in Earthly affairs and build up Earth's defences.
Now, I can understand if you want the space exploration to be postponed till the Chitauri attack. I can work that into the plot as the attack from Chitauri to be the cause for Cerion to explore the Universe possibly to build alliances to combat Thanos and his forces.
