Chapter 61: The First Steps to the Top
Added 2025-05-27 20:04:45 +0000 UTCWhat was supposed to be a relaxing night where they got to the party, trying out some foods from across the world and meeting people who could offer them tips and aid in their careers turned for the worst with this surprise bomb threat. "I'm not getting any signal," Todoroki reported, as he had even tried to send a text and found luck.
“Are you serious?” Mineta asked why the island would block cell service.
"The elevators aren't working either," Jiro called from where she was trying to get them to work but found as much as Todoroki did with his phone.
“What the heck is going on here?” Vlad paid Mineta no pay, and the man was well in work mode as he turned his attention to Mellissa.
“Ms. Shield, is this normal for such a threat?” He asked her, as while he had a bad feeling about this, compared to what he felt right before things went to hell at the USJ, he wouldn’t jump to conclusions.
Melissa thought it over. "No, this is far too extreme for just a bomb threat. It's supposed to only affect the area where the explosive is found and still allow people to move away from it." Was there a change in procedure she wasn't told about? Impossible, all island residents got the same bulletins, and hers hadn't been updated in months.
“So even if the bomb was in this building, we should still have means to escape?” Monoma asked her, to which she nodded, which only perplexed the situation. However, he glanced at Midoriya and nodded, as much like their teacher, they were getting bad vibes about this. "Is it possible that the system is just misfiring or something? Computers don't always operate as they're intended?"
Mellissa wasn't insulted by the inquiry, as it was a fair request. Still, while she wished it was so, she just couldn't see it being as simple as when your computer started acting up. “But that’s why the security has several people operating it, and the systems are regularly checked for bugs. We even had a mock drill last week in preparation for I-Expo.” They conducted those pre-expo tests every year, and like always, there were no issues. Even if they had been one, they gave themselves a week to fix it, more than enough time when the island gathered some of the brightest minds.
"So the odds of this being a mistake are incredibly low?" Vlad’s frown only grew when she nodded. “Ms. Shield, what’s your take on this?”
"Well, like I said, there weren't any issues with the system, but maybe the guards manning it made a mistake or left their posts?” That would be embarrassing, but there were still issues with that theory. As for the guards being unable to intervene right when a supposedly previously unknown bug activated now of all times, the odds just didn't add up.
She knew that there was something she was missing, that they were all missing, but she knew where they could get some answers? "We can try going to the party and asking around; I know that the Expo's organizers are there, and so is Uncle Might?"
“Uncle Might?” Yaoyorozu asked, leading the American to blink before realizing the confusion.
"Oh, I didn't explain that, did I? All Might's in attendance. I invited him so he could surprise my father, the two of whom were old friends." The students looked at her in shock, none more so than Todoroki, who had no idea that All Might even had a niece. He interrupted the rest of her statement and suspected it was more honorary than the blood relation.
“That at least explains why he requested time off,” Vlad muttered to himself, as the man was notorious amongst the staff for how he wouldn't stay longer than needed, and even when not rushing off to fight crime, he zoomed out the door. Did the principal know he would be here? Most likely, he hadn't felt the need to tell him, probably assuming they'd bump into each other.
"If All Might's here, then we have nothing to worry about." Mineta breathed a sigh of relief, though that wasn't a feeling shared amongst the rest, as this could just be some bug in the system, and All Might couldn't help much with that.
“But we won’t be able to get to the party through the elevators. Is there another way?” Uraraka asked as Mellisa pointed towards a door at the end of the lobby. It blended in with the background but had a well-illuminated sign denoting its purpose hanging above it.
"We can use the emergency stairs. That'll at least get us close, " Mellissa said, and Vlad nodded.
“Lead the way.” He told her.

Kodai and Yanagi had made it back to their hotel rooms well enough. Like many people, they had been caught outside when the time expired, but they had carried their passports on them and were able to avoid issues, though one of the drones had escorted them the rest of the way.
Now safe in their shared room, the two tried to pass the time but found that wouldn't be easy. "I understand they need emergency announcements to get out, but why block all the channels? Couldn't they just cut whatever is being played if they need to?" Yanagi asked as she tried to find a channel that worked, but despite their room coming with access to 400 channels from across the world, not a single one played; she doubted that the remote was even changing it as if the TV had been had locked to display the emergency message and nothing else.
"Can you call the others?" she asked Kodai, who shook her head, holding up her phone to show that she had no service. The quiet girl then held up her tablet, a frown on her face. "No interest as well, so we can't even watch via our own streaming accounts. Did you at least download something using the unlimited Wi-Fi?”
Kodai nodded as she climbed onto Yanagi's bed and put on her favorite Super Sentai series, Ultra-Rangers: Beast Riders.
Yanagi didn't show it, but when she saw that her friend had got the first 50 episodes, she knew she was in for a rough time. No one but her knew how…passionate the typically quiet and reserved girl got when her favourite characters did their over-the-top fighting.
If they ever get the chance to take a trip like this in the future, she will download some horror movies in advance.

Back in the reception hall, the villains still held complete control over things as their leader walked through the hostages. The heroes glared at him as he did so, but he couldn't care less. "Don't worry, so long as you behave, we don't have reason to hurt anyone, " he told them, but he doubted most could take comfort in that. When we finish what we came here to do, you'll be free."
"What do you want?" one hero asked, and as a response, the villain kicked him in the chin, sending the man onto his back with a grunt. Other guests saw it gasping and whimpering in fear.
The villain smirked at the downed man. "Do I really look like the type that would just tell you? I don't intend to escape, only to get tracked down later." The pro didn’t seem to care much for the kick, his glare strengthening, but he didn’t speak. Smart man.
The villain was about to turn to walk off, but he got a call via his earpiece. “What’s up?” He asked, listening to what was said through it, his eyes going over the assembled hostages before they landed on one of them. “Yeah, I got it.”
Walking up to Sam, he was blunt. “You, tubby, you’re a researcher here?”
"Y-yes, I am," Sam replied, sweating from fear of being outed for no reason.
The villain grunted as he turned to two of his men. “He’ll do.” The two others nodded before wordlessly approaching, their weapons trained on Sam.
“Wait, please-!” They started pulling the researcher to his feet, only for someone to speak up.
"Stop! That man is my assistant; what do you plan on doing to him?" David demanded as he marched up to them, fearless in the face of what could be a violent end.
“Hmm? Oh, the famous David Shield.” The villain recognized him before looking to the other two, who now held Sam up. “Bring him as well.”
David’s face tightened, but the sweat on his brow gave away his nerves. “And if I refuse?”
In response, the redhead villain smirked at him. “Then somewhere on this island, you’ll hear a pretty little blonde girl scream.” Anyone who knew David could immediately hear the threat for what it was, some even wondering where his daughter was, as she was supposed to be there.
David cornered in more ways than one, could only nod his head. He and Sam were led out of the room, All Might powerless to stop it.
‘Dave!’ The man strained against his restraints, for one hating the fact that I-island didn't skip corners or use inferior material as even with his strength, the glowing blue cords didn't give. He knew he could break them, but he wasn't sure he could do so fast enough to take out the villains gathered, but he couldn't do anything! 'I have to subdue these villains and get the system back online, but how much power do I have left?'
'I have to find a way. These people are counting on us heroes, and I'm the symbol of peace!' This was why he was a hero, wasn't it? To stop villains, save lives, and bring smiles to the people. He couldn't just stand by and let them have their way. As he struggled against his binds, thinking of a means to escape and save the day, he spotted a flash of light on the polished stage floor.
Confused, he looked up, wondering if of thee lights-is that Vlad?!
‘What? Is that Vlad-King? What is he doing here?’ He had no idea that man would be here. Was he also a guest? He had to be. There was no way Nezu would have sent him over. People like to think he was some sort of God, but he couldn't predict the future.
Putting his phone away, Vlad made a sign and coded message to All Might to ask if he could see him, which the man nodded to, his hands unable to be of much use. "He's seen me, Jiro. Is your jack in place?" Vlad looked to the side where Kyoka had plugged her earphones into the floor and found that she could hear a lot more of what was happening in the room below. However, there are few conversations at the moment.
She gave him a thumbs up as Vlad turned back, mouthed that they could hear him while also signing for the man to speak. All Might didn't know how he could, but he would just have to trust in his colleague.
Facing the floor, All Might spoke softly to prevent the villains from hearing him. "Hope you can hear me. Villains have taken control of the tower's security and have restrained everyone in the room. They're holding the people of the island hostage. You need to find a way to retake the tower, but I'm unsure how. David Shield was here, but the villains took him away for who knows what. If you can get help, do so."
Kyoka caught all that, her face pale as she looked towards Vlad. “Vlad, it’s bad.”
Line Break
Later, the two returned to the stairwell where the rest were waiting for them and explained the situation, which left the mood tense. "So that's the situation," Vlad finished, his arms crossed as the students and Mellissa tried to process all of that.
“This isn’t ideal. They have the entire tower security under their control. That means any camera and sensor is their eyes and ears.” Monoma noted.
"All Might was right; it'll be impossible for Vlad to handle this alone. We don't know how many villains or where they might be. Moving around half-hazard looking for a means to retake the system would just be asking for trouble.” Iida voiced.
“But if he does nothing, then the villains win. Besides, we can’t trust that they won’t hurt the people.” Uraraka counted, worried sick for them, not just those in the reception but the entire island. Their friends were also there and would have no idea. If those security bots approached, they would be caught by surprise.
“Then we’ll help him.” They turned to Midoriya, the boy frowning, but when he looked up, they saw a fire burning in his eyes.
“What?” Kaminari asked him.
“I mean it, all of us. We have Vlad retake the tower.” Midoriya gestured to the entire group.
"Are you crazy, Midoriya? They defeated everyone else, including All Might; we'll get creamed!" Mineta was immediately against that idea.
"I have to agree with Mineta here; we're only students. We don't have the training or experience to be useful." Yaoyorozu stated that though it left a bad taste in her mouth to do so, they had to face facts. This was perhaps far beyond them.
“Not true,” Vlad said, grabbing their attention without even trying. Yes, All Might and the rest were taken out, but I don't believe for a second it was through a fight. They probably are keeping them in check through the hostages.” It was a classic for a reason.
“As for you all, I’m not the sort to say I believe you can just handle this,” Vlad looked them over, which got some of the students, like Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, and Monoma, to look away, the last two recalling their finals. “But I’m not blind to the potential you’ve all displayed in your time under our teaching at U.A. More than that, each of you is training to be heroes.”
As those same people looked at him, surprised that he had such faith in himself while also feeling some feelings of inadequacy, Todoroki nodded.
“We can’t say that we want to help people if we refuse to stand up now, can we?” he asked, as even those who felt like this would be too much for them or that they weren't ready couldn't just say so.
“But Vlad, sir, how would we even do this? We can’t just fight our way up, can we?” Yaoyorozu asked, to which the man turned to the person present who would know best.
"Mellissa, would we need to? The villain's only card seems to be the hostages, but they're using the security to threaten them. Is there a way for us to sneak somewhere and kick them off the system?” He asked her, to which she nodded.
“We’ll need to get to the security room, which is close to the top floor," Mellissa responded. If these villains have taken control of it, then it means that the authentication locks and passwords have probably been disabled. If we can make it up there, we should be able to restart the system; we'll just need to avoid the villains."
"Okay, but how will we do that? Wouldn't the villains spot us?" Jiro asked.
Mellisa was quick to answer. "Because the security hasn't discovered us yet, that probably means the villains don't know how it works very well. We can even use the emergency stairs to make it pretty high up without being detected as the sensors in her run on a separate alarm system that wouldn't be triggered by an island-wide alert like the ones the villains caused."
“So, we avoid detection and try to return the place online? It could work." Todoroki thought it over, as ideally, that would work in their favor. Even if they could handle whatever was thrown their way, it would only slow them down.
Monoma smirked, finding that he agreed with the class A student. “And unlike the USJ, they no doubt lack the numbers; even if they did, the reception hall is filled with top heroes worldwide. Once they can fight, we've won."
“That is a blessing,” Vlad stated, looking them all over as he was about to do something that would surely get him in legal trouble, but that could come later. “Listen up, I understand this isn’t ideal, but you’ll help is needed to bring this crisis to an end, and so under my authority, except Ms. Shield, you'll all allowed to use your quirks to the best of your ability till things have been resolved."
Monoma and Midoriya neither reacted with more than a smile and nod, as they suspected that their teacher would let them off the chain for the night. As for the rest, they couldn't believe their ears, as they didn't even know this was possible, much less that they would get such permission. The shock faded as the group nodded, recalling the severity of the situation.
"But wouldn't the villain prioritize safeguarding the top floor?" Yaoyorozu posed a good question. If these villains were leaning on the security system as their ace in the hole, then like the bombs from their first hero class, it would only make sense to ensure it’s properly defended. Unlike then, they didn't have safeguards or opponents who would hold back.
"If we can get that far, we can handle whoever's up there. This time, we'll be the ones with the element of surprise." Midoriya replied, scratching at Koharu’s head. “With the collection of people we have here, I know we can do it.” Of course, they would also be limited, as in that first hero lesson, they'll need to be careful about damaging things, but he figured they could manage.
“There’s our Hebimi. Always gotta be the torchbearer, don’t you?” Momona leaned on Midoriya, who flashed him a smile as Monoma turned to the rest, enjoying how their teacher was taking charge of things. “Listen, we might have come here for a vacation before Vlad-sensei and the rest put us through hell during our summer training, but I 'm not about to sit on my hands when I can do something to remind these villains that they’re walking around on borrowed time.”
Kaminari could pick up on that smugness and decided he wouldn't let it stand. "Hey, after hearing that, I can't just sit on by, can 1? Besides, class B already got to fight some villains; let class A in on some of the fun."
“I don’t think that’s how it works, but whatever.” Jiro rolled her eyes but smiled in agreement.
"Be careful with your words, Kaminari. I recall Eraser saying that hero work wasn't fun on your first day." Vlad told him, to which Kaminari gulped as color vanished from his face.
“Please don’t tell him I said that!” Kaminari's response managed to break some of that tension as the group laughed, those in class A knowing that he had something to fear from their sleep-deprived homeroom teacher, but for now, they would focus on making him proud of saving I-island.
"If we're the only ones who can lend aid, and Vlad requested it," Iida paused before he stood straighter. Then I'll gladly accept this task. Saving lives is the core of being a hero; it's what these legs were made for."
Vlad looked them over, seeing that he had no detectors to his request. That's good; they'll need all the help they can get. But with that finished, they still needed one last person. "Ms. Shield. I know this is much to ask, but can you accompany us? We'll need someone who's familiar with the tower and the security system." He asked, knowing that her involvement only complicated things further, but he couldn’t deny that she was vital.
Mellissa knew this well as she looked him in the eye, some determination flowing into her gaze. “I would have been offended if you said otherwise.”
“It’s all right. We're a team for this. You do your thing, and we'll do ours, which means keeping you safe," Uraraka told her. The girl might not be a fighter, but she didn’t need to be.
"No one gonna get past me or Koharu." At Midoriya’s assertion, Koharu nodded.
Line Break
As the unknown strike group came to an agreement on their objectives, at the top of the tower, the villains remained in control, with 2 watching over a third who was monitoring everything. The group didn't speak, choosing to focus on their tasks, which meant that when the door pinged, it couldn't be missed.
“Here’s the smart guy.” The one who led up the professor and his assistant called out.
“Good, hurry up and unlock the vault.”
“You’re not the boss here,” The man’s helmet folded back into itself, making for easy removal as he showed his face to the two researchers, allow with turning his harm into a blade from the elbow and putting its tip to David’s throat. "Well, get to it unless you want to lose your head."
David felt the sweat on his brow but didn't fight them on them. “Sure, I’ll begin.”
“Take them where they need to go.” Their now-free guide gestured for the other two to take over for him, which they did with a slightly more gentle touch. However, considering the situation, it was limited.
Line Break
With the students and their pro-hero leader, they remained in the emergency stairwell, which was now well lit, as they ascended the tower. Each floor had a marking in large, clear black paint against the white paint of the walls. Vlad kept to the front. Being in the best shape, he could maintain a good speed, which the others were forced to match, with people like Iida having no issue with it as they noted the numbers.
When Vlad eventually came to a stop to give them a moment to breathe, he looked toward the floor number. “Level 30.”
"No way the tower's that short; it's huge from the outside," Monoma stated, taking the precious seconds of rest for all they were worth.
“Say, Mellissa, just how many floors is the tower?” Midoriya asked their VIP, who was proving to be the second slowest there, beating out only Mineta, which was a given, considering even Mineta was training to be a hero. At the same time, she was just a support student who worked out from time to time and kept a relatively healthy diet.
Melissa needed a few seconds to catch her breath, her face getting sweaty before she replied. “200.”
“The what?” Kaminari asked, as that was insane; why did they need such a crazy big tower?!
"That's way too many stairs," Mineta cried, as they would surely be too exhausted to do anything by the time they reached the top.
Vlad chuckled. The man was only slightly out of breath, but his students knew in their guts that he was just getting warmed up. "Trust me, when you go pro, you'll be amazed and hate how much you can be expected to run around."
Jiro groaned. "I can't believe that Death Arms was right. I was hoping he was just pulling my leg." She hated it, but when Vlad turned and called for them to keep running, she and the rest didn't question it; they just ran.
When they reached the 40th, Midoriya slowed a little to match pace with Monoma, who pretended he didn't notice. "Monoma, are you still good?" Midoriya asked.
“Who do you think you’re asking?” Monoma was mildly offended if he thought Monoma would have issues with this. He might not have that lone shrine worker stamina, but he took personal fitness seriously. Besides, he couldn't let himself look weak in front of class A.
Midoriya shook his head. "Not that. You might need to copy my quirk, so I just want to make sure…well, you know." He made a fire effect with his hands, though just the sign of one, as he couldn't be sure if the stairs had a smoke detector.
Monoma understood his concern. While Midoriya had eaten less than he typically would before anything like training, it was still twice what Monoma had. "I'll manage. Besides, if push comes to shove, it's not as if I can only copy your quirk."
“What’s this about your quirk, Midoriya?” Yaoyorozu asked, worried there could be some complication with one of their powerhouses.
"It requires fuel like food. I ate a large lunch, but Monoma was leaving room for the party." Midoriya replied, relieving her of that concern, though she did find that a little humorous.
"Our quirks are similar in that regard then, but like Monoma, I didn't have as large a lunch as I could have." Yaoyorozu told him that aside from Sato, she hadn't met someone at U.A. whose diet was that affected by their quirks. Yes, people like Shoji ate more, but he was also a much larger person, so increased calorie intake was expected, while Koda's vegan diet was more personal choice.
In fact, now that she was thinking about it, Midoriya had consumed quite the lunch back at the Sports Festival, several servings like it was nothing.
She wasn't the only one who was listening, as Kamimari chuckled, picturing a scene of the two in question just demolishing an All-you-can-Eat buffet like Pac-man. “Maybe we can find some snack machines or something. A tower this big is bound to have a few of them around.” He suggested.
Yaoyorozu grimaced, thinking of what possible candies and other junk food they'd find in such. "It's not ideal, but we're in an emergency, so any calories we can find would be appreciated." Midoriya only shrugged, as he didn't like such foods, but when his gut could be described as a furnace, he could eat just about anything. He just hoped he found meat that Koharu could snack on.
Things felt silent after that. The group continued up, though now all showed signs of the growing toll on them. Having passed the 50th floor, Uraraka looked to their rear, where Mellissa was struggling to keep up. “Mellissa, are you alright? I can use my quirk on you if you like.”
"I'm fine; save your strength for something important.” Mellisa gasped but kept her smile up. She quickly bent over and removed her heels, discarding them and running up to catch up with the rest. “I’m right behind you.” Uraraka was worried for her, but to her credit, Mellissa didn’t slow them down too much, and Vlad did slow the pace to give her a better chance as they reached the 60th floor, then after a while, the 70th.
As they ran, they had started to believe that this would be easy, as they had nearly made it halfway without issue. As if fate had taken issue with that confidence, they hit their first barrier, a quite literal one. As they reached the 80th floor and Vlad turned to continue onwards, he saw a giant steel door blocking the path.
The others were quick to get there and see the issue. "The route's blocked," Iida called out.
"What should we do? Break through it?" Todoroki asked, doubting that they could withstand it if they tried.
Mellissa vetoed that idea. “If we did that, the security system would alert the villains that someone was in the emergency stairway.”
“Then why don’t we go through this door instead?” Mineta asked, already reaching for the door that would take them out of the stairway.
“Minet-!” Mellisa's warning was cut off when Vlad, moving far faster than a man his size should, rushed Mineta and grabbed his tiny arm right as he was about to grasp the handle for the door. The ball-haired student gulped when he was the sole target of the blood user's glare.
“That,” Vlad grunted, frightening Mineta even more as the man released his grip. Mineta was happy to take several steps away from him and the door. "Would be unwise. Remember, always be observant. That door, like the one in front of us, is locked. Trying to open it could just as easily trigger an alarm." He told all of them, as he didn’t want to bet that he could catch them before they made a mistake next time.
“Got it.” Mineta chirped.
"Then what should we do? We're boxed in," Midoriya asked, as they couldn't just open the door or burst through it. Were they supposed to head down and find some other means to proceed?
Vlad didn't answer. Instead, he inspected the door, the students leaving him to do so for a minute or so before the man pulled back, satisfied by whatever he had learned.
“In my experience, locks are designed for the environments in which they are going to be installed. The tower might have safeguards against fires, but not ice." He turned to Todoroki and gestured towards the door’s handle, where the locking mechanism should be housed. "Todoroki, can you send your ice through it? You'll freeze the sensors and latch, then I'll cut them later."
“That I can do.” Todoroki nodded, stepping up and placing his right hand on it. Years of training with just his ice meant that his control over it was exceptional, more than enough that as he felt it pierced into the locking device, he didn't let it get so infested that something would just fail, but only freeze them. He also let it spread to the not 1 but 3 lock bolts.
Once he was sure they were frozen solid, he stepped back and let Vlad handle things, which the hero did with his. With just a small amount of blood, he strengthened and thinned it out into a long, fine blade, which he moved into the near paper-thin gap between the door and its frame, slicing through the lock bolts. That done, they could gently pull on the frozen handle and open the door, the alarm remaining active but not triggered.
“How’d you do that?” Kaminari asked, as he hadn't thought that was possible.
Vlad pulled the blood back into his body via his support item. “Blood, like water, can be an effective blade when applied correctly.”
"I might need to tell my father about this so this can't be repeated," Mellissa noted as she looked over the disabled lock and found that it seemed to still be in good shape. A few minutes to defrost, and it'll be like they were never there. She closed the door once the last of them came through to make sure it looked like it.
Vlad smiled at that. "He should get in contact with Principal Nezu. We have second years go through classes to handle this very kind of situation.” The hero students would worry about just how insane their second years would be later. Right now, they had to keep moving down a more forgiving level path.
“Is there another way up?” Monoma asked.
"There should be another emergency stairway at the end of the hallway," Mellissa replied.
"Hey, there should be cameras up here, right? So why haven't they seen us yet?" Kaminari asked, noting that the different frames they ran through could hide blast doors like in the movies, but not a single one was coming down.
"The cameras can see us, but that alone won't produce an alert. They probably scanned the building when they took control of the security." Mellissa explained.
"And since they found no one up here, they won't check unless they have to; I bet they're focused on the lower floors." Jiro finished the statement, as that was a blessing in disguise for them. After all, why check the upper flows when you confirmed they were empty and you monitored the entrance?
“Is there anything of note we should know about?” Vlad asked as he had already picked up at least a dozen cameras as they ran. While they could disable them, that would only give them up if whoever was up there noted cameras going down.
"The plant factory's on this floor," Mellissa told him, which had the students looking at her funny and wondering if she had just used the wrong Japanese. Midoriya and Monoma certainly did, as Tsunotori often made such mistakes.
“Plant factory?” Midoriya asked her, to which she pointed to an upcoming door.
"They study the events that quirks have on different fauna there. It has an elevator up all the way, but using it wouldn't be smart." She stated, to which Kaminari groaned.
"Got it. The same reasons why you shouldn't use the elevator when there's a fire." If these blocked the elevators back at the lobby, odds are that if this wasn't disabled, it would be if they tried to use it, and with their luck, it would be after they got it and between floors to keep them trapped.
“Anything else?” Todoroki asked, to which Mellissa shook her head.
“On this floor, no, but on the 100th, there should be a small kitchen that some staff use. Yaoyorozu and Midoriya can stock up on food there." She had used it a couple of times when she visited her father's lab and explored the place, so she knew it was decently well-stocked. Far more than any of the snack machines.
“Then we have a destination in mind.” Besides, Vlad decided the 100th floor would be as good as any spot to rest up, hopefully away from the danger of being spotted.

I had an exam today, which I'm…fairly confident I didn't do too bad in. However, with the rest of my schedule, I am undecided(here's to hoping that the rest of my classes use my assignments as I did really well in those). I can't say when we'll finish, as exams can stretch into June, which is…fun, just all the fun. Now, back to that WIP, its first chapter is, in fact, done. I've edited it, and everything, and I'm working on its 2nd chapter as I’m planning to just do the 3 chapters and then release them weekly to see how well they do.
Now, as for this chapter, I will admit that things got a little challenging, considering unlike anything else I've written or seen cover the movie, I have a teacher with the group, among other things, but the final product is something I'm pretty proud of.
