Alyanna Fenris was a Dark Elf woman with a powerful magic-user gene during the Legion War. She was recruited through a deal that she didn't fully understand by the Golden Alliance and used as a living magic battery for a battleship, then was forced to use her magic powers to assist in the mistreatment of its "sub-mythic" crew. Eventually she was able to overcome the lockouts placed on her and helped the crew mutiny, after which she was assassinated before the trial against the admiral who ordered all this. This became the boiling point in the crusade for "sub-mythic" rights and she is considered an important and heroic historical figure, especially in the Castaways Treaty Systems, given that it gets its name from the ship she served on.
