Update 12/22 - Back to STATUS QUO

Hello once again everyone, it's Earndil once again writing up this week's post to keep you advised on what is going on in the good ol' Poppenang Production Pserver, both big and small. 

This week shall be a rather small bit of updating, as we have nothing overly major being undertaken at this time, but the goal of keeping everyone abreast of the situation CONTINUES.

Regarding the things to be worked on, the artists and animators are working their asses off to produce mind-bogglingly cool material for the next episode of Hunter the Parenting, and we're all very excited to see it happen in real time!

Yeah that's pretty fucking cool, we've got some obscenely talented people working with us on our funny internet show.

You can also, of course, see a few more examples in the brand new preview video we slapped on top, with new character Occam, Chancellor of the Arcanum Chapter House of Great Yarmouth.
He IS bald and IS irish, yes.

                                      『NORFOLK WIZARD GAME』

Okay, so, short thing on Norfolk Wizard Game for all you Wizardheads out there.

The Patreon-Edition of Norfolk Wizard Game Chapter 1 was supposed to be released with this Patreon post. But, alack and alas, Alfabusa could not get the final pass-through done in time.
We're gonna have to release it after the yuletides have come to a close unfortunately.
Terribly sorry, hopefully you'll look forward to the release once it has been finalised.

The KEBVIN- The Kevin plush has been decided on for its release date!

We have had our meeting with the people over at Makeship and we both agreed it's probably best we don't go advertising this thing in the midst of a big content drought.
We both agreed it is better we await the release of Chapter 4, that way we can get the most eyes on it, it'll feel the most "organic", and hopefully we'll have it be a successful campaign!

☉ NO MORE COMPUTER CRASH!!!

If you did not know, Alfabusa bought a new desktop last year that's up-to-date and significantly faster and more adept at animation work. However, it has been crashing. A lot. Just, an immense amount, for a good long time now. So Alfabusa has just settled for editing on his older computer from 2018 and it works better specifically because it doesn't constantly crash.

However!

He took it in, and in some way or another, it has now stopped doing that. He has reported a considerable upgrade in his capabilities now that it no longer completely and utterly dies when trying to do intensive processes. THIS IS A GOOD THING. No firm predictions on how this will positively affect workflow, but suffice it to say it's a very positive thing.

☉ BIG EVIL BUDGET TALK

We don't want to harp on this too often, but, with this being our last post of the year, I felt like now is a decent enough time to;
It is thanks to your support that we can afford to keep people onboard with us, we literally cannot do this without you guys.
We know that, as the Economic Situation changes in places across the globe that people have to come and go, and that is an acceptable fact of life for us. We thank you IMMENSELY no matter what.

We still ask that, where at all possible, we try to get as much support as ever able going forward so we can continue to grow the number of people working with us.
We always want to expand our roster and make our workflow more efficient, with a lot of the freelancers we regularly work with still working full-time jobs to make ends meet.

We'd always prefer to get as many of these nice and cool people onboard with a steady full-time job as our budget can handle. And with 7 people currently employed either full-time or half-time, we're not doing bad at all, but the budget does not fit much more in ways of full-time employment.
But that could change, given our support grows with the release of our new Chapters, with the Kevin plush, and with your retained interest!

Suffice it to say though, thank you, for your support over these VERY TUMULTUOUS past few years. We're hoping that you all will continue to be with us as we stride forward into the next year...
