Update 02/04 - Disease Over, Work NOW!!!

Alfabusa speaks, I have recovered and so has the family! Thank!!!

Thus I shall write an actual update this time around.

Here we go!

So, the biggest news of the day is that Karl has officially joined us this very day.

He's been thrown down into the Editing Pit and we already have big plans on hitting him in the shoulder with a Poundland crowbar once Thunder sends one over from Norfolk.

So far, he's done an excellent job, and I am convinced that with him finally on the team, we will fucking kill everyone on earth. I am so excited.

Unfortunately, other people in our crew have fallen sick with fail disease over these past weeks so work has been a bit on the wacky side but has still been going strong all things considered.

Far up in the Script Mast, progress is being by the people hanging from its rusted beams, but we are currently getting some help from legendary salaryman ButtstuffKaiju (also know by his more embarrassing alias Oculus Imperia), who wants to bring the proverbial fire to us stone age cave ogres by presenting us with the novel idea of a "Spreadsheet", one that could be used to organise our day-to-day more efficiently. Excited to see how technology works finally.

In the Art Mines, sickness and failure has spread as Garrot has fallen ill and one of our other fulltime artists, Iro, has had her drawing pad broken by some malevolent house gnomes probably.

Even so, they are still far beyond us editors, as the art team are still deep into work on the third episode of Hunter whilst we are still stuck on episode 2.

That is not to say episode 2 is going slowly, far from it, we are, at this stage, far past halfway done, and while I cannot say exactly how time much is left, we are determined to finish the episode this month.

If we could release it on the same day as we released EP1 back in December I would love that but don't count on it.

I want to note that we had plans on releasing the first half of this episode much earlier here on Patreon as a bit of a fun teaser, much like we did EP1.

However, it was not to be, as the last half of the episode was more or less finished first whilst I was sick and couldn't pick up the slack. So, with the second half already being much closer to the finish line, we're just gonna release the whole episode once the first half is properly completed as well.

What's more, we are currently actively working on creating more audiodramas again.

I'm sure I have mentioned this before but, now, with the expanded team and our ability to actually finish things in a marginally more timely manner, we are ripping out funny ideas for audiodramas to fill the time between episodes. The dream is to release one audiodrama a month, alongside any other potential content, and this has been made more possible than ever since I'm not the only one working anymore, holy shit!!!

We currently have three ideas going in various stages of finishness, the first one is an audiodrama starring Kitten and Big-D sitting in the kitchen. Kitten is making breakfast and chatting with Big-D about Norfolk Folklore.

Our plan is to take fun urban legends from the general East Anglian area, tell you about them in a way that is hopeful fun and cozy, and then place them within the context of the World of Darkness setting through the mad conspiratiorial ravings of Big-D.

Our second one is Kitten and Marckus launching a 2006 Gamer Podcast together (fun fact, Podcasts first properly became a thing back in 2004).

They will be talking about their favourite games in an awkward and jumbled fashion because its their first Podcast and its 2006, and the paranormal can't help but constantly crop up as they delve deeper into whatever subjects they touch upon.

The third one, which is still in the concepting stage, is Boy reading a story to his family that he has written about his cool epic original character who hunts supernatural creatures and wins and is really cool and badass and powerful and goes to space probably, written in a style loyal to how we collectively wrote stories back when we were 9-12 years old of course.

Door is supportive but understands exactly nothing of what happens in the story, Kitten gives mild feedback that may or may not be appreciated, Marckus is a Livid Media Critic who must Dunk on the Bad Fanfiction, and Big-D fucking loves it more than anything and will in all likelihood try to force it upon a publishing company.

That is pretty much it, all three of these will be an incredibly fun time to write.

And that is, indeed, also pretty much it for this update.

I will now go and rest my extremely sore legs as I exercised for the first time in months and months yesterday and whilst it immediately deleted my long-time lingering background anxiety, it also fucked my legs to hell.
