All of the work you guys put in is amazing. I loved all of it and watched/listened it half a dozen times already. I am a big Mittens shipper (I’m going to hecking hell with my fanfics and art anyway), but more importantly, I’m a huge fan of positive, tooth rotting sweet on-screen relationships. Marckus and Kitten have beautiful chemistry imbued by their voice actors. Door and Boy are just so damn adornable with their wholesome father-son gig (Boy gets HUGS and LOVE), and Big D, wow! He’s such a new flavour of batshit crazy and I love it! I also fecking love the way you have animated Kitten into a proper cat! Like ears back angry kitty during the fight, the way one ears flops down until Marckus reassured him at the start. Freaking beautiful <3 Fantastic work by you and your team Alfa! X Prediction - Kitten covers up in this universe because he got into a motorcycle accident while planning card games in his teens and he’s self-conscious about his scars (but Marckus thinks he’s fab regardless) <3 Also, Shadowsun is his awful ex XD

The first episode was amazing. I have never heard of World of Darkness, and I was worried the new universe would not be to my liking. I loved it! Sure it doesn't quite have the same punch as TTS did, but that was something the old series only achieved after establishing all the characters and setting and so on. This definitely is a solid start and I'm looking forward to more. As for the animations style itself, I find it adorable. The writing is solid, the characters are familiar, and I can't wait to see who else from the earlier setting will pop up and what new ones you have in store!

Okay so I just watched the full episode on Youtube and whilst I do like the setting and story I feel there is much that can use improvement. The audio is not right, the characters sound disconnected from the environments that they are in, please please fix that, it hurts immersion. There are many shots in which characters are much less detailed, I do not know if this is an artistic choice but I feel it really hurts the overall presentation and makes the whole thing feel somewhat unpolished and rushed. If you can work on these issues and maybe have a little bit less character strecthing this could be great. I hope this critiscism will be of use to you and not hurt you but I know you can do better than this and I want to see you reach your full potential.

Assuming it would happen, we'd be very happy and feel quite vindicated if they do actually create a sensible fan-content policy. But, admittedly, this has left a dent in us that won't go away that easily. We will go back to TTS, but absolutely not immediately, even if they do implement something like that. We want to set up a perimeter and expand out into other settings and feel safe in our new content so nothing like this can happen to us again yknow? And we also want to see, from a distance, if GW can help create a better, safer and more fruitful fan-content community, the kind of atmosphere we see in communities around other games. A lot of people will probably not like that, but its the smarter, safer and more attractive option for us, and we hope people will understand.

Man, that whole opening gave me such old 1980's cartoon vibes. Like something I might have seen from an obscure Ruby-Spears animated movie. Very cool. The re-imagining of the cast has been very good. I love the tiny nods to Speech-Device, especially the way they blend in with the normal flow of the art and the humor.

To be fair, even in TTS Kitten and Magnus have always had good chemistry. They're both inquisitive (which is very odd for Kitten, since curiosity is one of the emotions Custodes are supposed to have mostly stomped out of them) and Magnus's Big Brain plans meeting Kitten's practical nature is sort of a naturally complimentary pair. And they've both got a silly streak and a strong sense of duty. Watching their friendship grow was one of the most rewarding parts of TTS. I mean, you don't tear off a piece of your soul to give to your best buddy so you can talk anytime unless you REALLY trust that person. In a quiet way, in receiving the favor of both the Emperor and a Daemon Prince, maybe Kitten was one of the most impressive people in the Imperium. And he did it by humbly just wanting to help his lord, his brothers and his friends.

To address one thing; Door’s name is what it is because Big-D named each one of his sons after whatever thing he happened to be looking at at the time of their births. Marckus is one of few who ended up with a real, actual name but even then, it’s spelled with a ’ck’ for no reason.

it's good. got the same feel as TTS did, even though i fear will never truly be the same. Idk how i feel about the name "Door". i will accept it if it's like a nickname and his real name is Ronald. i very much like how Kitten is still just a walking exposition bomb. Marckus is great, same snarkiness as Magnus, overall very good. Boy is still Boy, great. Hoping to see The Fabulous Custodes, Decius, maybe even some of the high lords and the inquisition, in their respective new coatings of paint. now, the elephant in the room, Marckus and Kitten seem to be gay lovers. idk how i feel about that. nothing so terribly stupid as "HURR HURR GAY BAD", but it feels a little weird, since they otherwise have exactly the same personalities as their TTS counterparts. i guess it's just cause i already have them established in my headcanon as not being that. just an issue of having to get used to it, i guess. the film grain is not something i'm a huge fan of, but it's not a major issue. the sound balancing could be a little better, with some characters being just a little tad too quiet. i like it, 8/10, still wish it was TTS, but what can you do?

You know, we don't talk enough about how Alfa's real accomplishment is the creation of a cast of characters so distinctive you can remove the 40k trappings and everyone is still perfectly recognizable, even the giant corpse god. In fact, giving Big E/D a PERSONALITY was probably the hardest thing TTS had to do. Alfa somehow made the screaming skeleton a character we can relate to and get invested in. The exposition-dispensing Custodes who just wants to help became the heart of the show. Magnus is that fun uncle who wants to help but somehow keeps making everything worse. Dorn has the biggest heart in the Imperium and he's been profoundly heartbroken so long he can barely function. Boy gives him something to care about besides just his grief and regrets. And Boy is just great. Here's a child character who isn't annoying and injects some much needed innocence and hope into the setting. Boy is great. alfa and his team have given us a cast of characters people actually care about. Almost nobody ever does this, but once you have, you're sitting on a goldmine. You show me what these people eat for lunch, and I'm interested. What this guy is reading, or that guy is listening to, and I'm interested. I'm invested in the story and I'll follow them anywhere. Can't wait to see the rest of this

Oh man. The possibilities. Colin Corax is a goth provocatuer who spends his days haunting the local Starbucks and writing depressing poetry. He works at Amazon and hates it, trys to organize a strike of his fellow workers and winds up at war with Jeff Bezos army of killer strike-breaking robots Vulgun is a dead body who is just in every episode and nobody ever comments on. Russ is the local vet who doubles as an animal rescue, under the table medic, and also town drunk.

This made me feel the joy of life that I have not felt in months. hyperboles aside, I love it already! I do agree audio may need a few tweaks (had to blast the volume higher than usual to hear it), but the rest looks amazing!

I found the entire thing to be legitimately very entertaining. Markus and kitten being sappily gay at each other was a treat (and, honestly, you've now legitimately handled homosexuality better than just about everything I've seen in media, so kudos to you lot). I the sound ques, special effects, wider shots with some animations to spice them up... It's low budget, but at the same time it's done well. Like a perfect middle ground between reading a comic and low budget animation. TLDR: love the thing, can't wait to see the whole thing. Keep on keeping on.
