Update 5/25 - I am Father

Yesterday, a few minutes past 2, my son was born. It is our firstborn so I’ve not experienced anything like this before, so as you can imagine, it is surreal.
The birth was by far the most traumatic thing I have ever experienced and I wasn’t even really doing anything??
My partner sounded like she was dying for a good chunk of the time and I felt so bad for her I felt sick, for hours and hours, it was torture.
Also, you know that miniarc in JoJo Diamond is Not Crash with the battle against the stand Enigma, who can capture people in paper when they display a unique habit when truly shocked or afraid, their sign of fear?
I learned mine is violently clasping both my hands across my mouth like an old cartoon lady about to have a heartattack, as that is what I did as soon as he came out. An utter shock to my entire system. Everything became super real immediately and my adrenaline glands exploded like grenades.
Now, however, I have calmed, my partner has said that she actually thought the delivery went great despite the death screams and crying which is like huh okay uuh whatever you say, and I have had the opportunity to hang out with him and he is very nice and pretty and funny and truly an exemplary baby. The most baby that ever was.
We’re currently stuck at the maternity ward for some controls and check-ups and won’t be allowed to head home before tomorrow. We’re aching to head back to the house with the new addition to our family and so we can properly start this up this the new Age of Childcare, Babbletome: Babychild Carelords.
As I am sure you’ll understand, this will stop video production on my end for a bit. Fortunately, I have people covering for me for some stuff so work hasn’t fully ceased.
However, I’ll be getting back to work more properly in about a week probably? Fortunately, I have a treadmill at my workstation, so the plan is for me to walk with the bab in a carrier whilst doing some work. The movements distract and tire him, so it’ll work brilliantly I’m sure, I love multitasking til my brain turns to sludgejuice out my ears.
I can’t write much more than that right now but I just thought I’d give you this update for the time being. Be certain though, EP30 Part 3 is still absolutely on its way.
