Update 04/26 - oh no this update is way late

ay.....

This update is a week late.
This was mostly due to easter, partner's family coming over, not really having a computer available, taking a bit of a break (heresy etc), then forgetting the update until I was recently reminded.
I am sorry, I will try to be better and not have this happen again.

What makes this update significantly worse, however, is that I don't have a whole lot of great things to tell you. Oh boy.

I am in a bit of an 'inbetween' period where I am just booking people up and trying to gather voicelines and artwork  in order to start properly editing.
I do not like this part of projects.
I think it might be my least favourite, bar actually releasing videos which, as any creator will tell you, is    THE  W O R S T.

The reason for this is mostly that I'm not, like, super great at being the spider in the web.
I'm an introverted kind and thus voice direction, while I am capable at it, does drain me an infernal lot.
Audio editing is also a department I've noticed I haven't improved a whole lot in since I began streamlining my workflow in January. I'm just not as effective at it, and it does not bring me the same comfort as animating does.
Both of these are just things I'd rather not do, but I have to, otherwise I can't actually get to the good part.
I need to figure out some way to increase efficiency on that front as well.

So, as you might figure, both of these things have of course affected the next episode of If the Emperor had a Podcast.
Due to the hours worth of recording I had to go through during the voice direction part for EP3 of the Podcast, and my failings in finding the proper motivation to really lay into the editing of the Podcast, I broke down, screamed fUCK, and then asked my friend StringStorm if he could please, please, PLEASE help me finish up the rest of it because he is an audio wizard and I am but a neonate in his shadow.

By the grace of the gods, he accepted.
I am now liberated from the editing of the next Podcast as he lends me his aid and, in the meantime, I am going to start work on...   uh, the audio for EP28.
I'm sure that'll go better.

I still have a whole load of art I need to commission around, and I still have a lot of people to book up for voicework.
Incidentally, yesterday, I had one booked up with Connor McKinley, the voice of the Lockwarden, but then I had to cancel last second like a complete asshole when I realised it was way too late and I had to get up early in the morning to die at the hands of my personal trainer, whom I expected would trash me for eating way too many hot dogs during easter.

I am still recovering from this and I hope Funky Kongstodes will take me back for this transgression.

Okay, that's my shitty little update done.
Again, I am sorry for this both being very late and not that exciting.

By the time of the next update, I am hoping to have properly started work on EP28, as in actually editing it and not just sitting around uselessly dabbing away at the audio and crying. Also, maybe the Podcast will be out? The fate of that one lies with String for now, bless him.
