Update 02/22 - EP27 Next Week

Two weeks, passed. Time for update.
EP27 Update
So, EP27 is pretty much done.
I have been stuck in Render Hell for a week now, and I just escaped it today!
... almost.
As I looked at the final product, I noticed a lot of small minor errors that I hate, like Magnus feathers detaching from his wings, Dorn's face distoring weirdly and fog being displaced.
So, now I have to rerender parts of these scenes bit by bit in order to get it all sorted.
HOWEVER, good news;
I HAVE BOUGHT A BRAND NEW COMPUTER.
I spent all the money I received from you that hadn't been spent on rent and food and bought myself a really, really good computer specifically to aid me in rendering more efficiently.
So, now I've got two computers for the job, so that's going to be me rendering twice as fast as I did earlier! Probably more than twice as fast, considering the new computer renders twice as fast as the old one. So, I will be rendering thrice as fast?
I dunno, let's go with that for now.
Other than that, I've still got some subtitles left to do, then after all the glitches have been resolved I'll have it quality controlled and THEN I will deem it finished.
Oh boy.
Other News
In other news, my fellow editor, who goes by 'Eversor Assassin' or 'Vindicaire Assassin' because he can't choose which temple he thinks is coolest, has been working on a new Short while I've been focusing on post. That one is also almost finished as well and will be released soon after EP27 is done, together with some other stuff.
The other stuff I just mentioned is, firstly, that battle-report monstrosity I have mentioned a few times in previous updates, which I am hoping to smash together in a short time before work on BROTRIP EP2 becomes the main focus.
Secondly, I am going to release an unboxing video because I just got a box full of amazing TTS models. Like, actual pewter miniatures that you can play tabletop games with. The ones from that IndieGoGo campaign you might remember from a while back potentially? They are fabulous.
That's all for this time, though.
By the time of the next update, EP27 should be entirely released, and work on EP2 of BROTRIP will have started. Looking forward to it.

2019-02-22 18:36:23 +0000 UTCSounds like you're using regular liquid cooling and not an AIO, because those are a closed loop and are designed to be fool proof. You're lucky the coolant didn't spew onto the mobo because then you'd really be screwed.

I had the computer assembled by a professional from my hometown instead of trying to put something together on my own. For me that'd be like trying to solve a riddle in a language I don't speak. Fun (not actually fun) story though; I first got the computer 6 days ago, but when I had it set up, it stopped working soon after. Had it sent in again, we thought it was the PSU. He ordered a new one, waited two days, realised it wasn't the PSU but the god damn cooler had leaked liquid all over the graphics card and ruined it, had to order a new, different cooler and graphics card, and just yesterday I got it back. So that was awful and certainly didn't help with render times.

2019-02-22 17:50:45 +0000 UTCOh absolutely, I got a pretty nice, massive screen to go along with it. Unfortunately, I uh... don't really have any super cool games to play it on. I only have, like, old Valve games and Age of Mythology installed on it currently.
