Update 02/08 - EP27 nearing completion, new editor, all is good

Two weeks have now gone by, as per the new update schedule!

EP27 Update

It's been 6 weeks since I started treading down the path of more efficient editing.
In that time, I have managed to finish over 30 minutes of video, including EP27 and that Flesh Eaters burger short.

Editing-wise, EP27 is pretty much done. There's barely a minute left to edit. It's going to be about 35 minutes in length in the end, 30 of those minutes of which were finished this year.

What needs doing now is the addition of subtitles, credits, some general post stuff, quality control and then it will be ready to be released. Due to the uncertainty of rendering times, I cannot with full confidence give you a release date as of yet, but it will without a doubt be in February.

Other News

In other news, I have managed to get a hold of another editor! 

He's been helping me out with EP27 since about two weeks back and his contribution has absolutely, definitely helped in speeding things along. He's been doing a great job so far and I can't wait to have his life spiral down into into an abyss of swearing golden skeletons, much like my own has.

As for the future,  in March, we are going to focus on getting BROTRIP EP2 finished.
In April we are going to start working on EP28. It is going to be finished before June.
In the meantime, my goal is to release at least one video each month until EP28 is released.

I am still bashing my head against the new podcast. The primary concern about the podcasts is that they are pretty ardous to record. There are a lot of lines after all, so it takes a few hours to get an entire script done. We need to find the perfect time to set aside for recording, which is harder than it sounds due to the fact that I am in Europe while the majority of the voiceworkers in the podcast are in very different timezones. We'll see how I'll go about it.

I also started editing Upper Hive a little bit and then I died slightly because it's so long (over an hour) and I am sort of considering having a new, shorter session recorded instead but then again it's a pretty great session we got going right here but then again it's so long but then again you're going to think it's great but then again the size of it is pretty great and I dunno if I have time to finish it up HFGHHHHHH I'll see what I can do between now and the end of March I guess sorry.

And, finally, in the time between the release of EP27 and March, I am going to release that horrid, disgusting battlereport video I posted about a few updates back, starring me, Karl and Garrot.   it's g  r eat.

Ah, WELL, that'd be all for now.
I am feeling positive that by the time of the next update, EP27 will be entirely complete and either released, or just about released, depending on how ridiculous the rendering times are.
