Or, more like 11, I guess.
You'll have to excuse me, yesterday wasn't great for productivity.
Half the day was spent in the gangrene depths of the new Poke Men™ game, while the second half was spent worrying about the fact that our car wouldn't start due to a dead battery, me responding to this issue by dropping my phone on the ground like a jackass.
I ended up with both broken phone and car in one day.
I didn't quite feel like writing anything when I had gotten home to be quite honest.
EP27 Update
Work has gone on as per usual. I've made some nice progress on the beginning scene of EP27, which you'll be able to see up above! This whole scene isn't entirely finished, of course, but it is mostly Kitten and Magnus being excessively salty at eachother over this very stale roadtrip they've just been on. Crotalids didn't help.
I've also got news regarding Anchors, the VA for Dorn. He just came out of surgery yesterday. I hadn't been made aware of this until fairly recently, and I'm happy to say that he's alright and he's now back at it, more powerful than ever. Fortifications are imminent.

Not anything directly related to my own work, but, HEY, Karl is back!!
Our friend Karl the Deranged, whom you may have spotted at the end of, like, every single video I've made the past years, has concluded time with his academy courses and is now back on the internet. In fact, he's even "caved in" and created his own Patreon!

I would offer him a spot as Editor Secundus and offer him enough money to buy five noodles every day of the month but, unfortunately, he wants to stand on his own for now and get back into the groove of things by focusing on his Chaos Descends series.
As for Upper Hive it's uh... okay it's just kind of been lying there for a while now I probably should edit it a bit but I've really plastered onto EP27 right now in a vain and more than likely futile attempt to finish it all by myself before new years...
I am also more than likely going to start looking for a second editor again soon.
I've got my criteria-ladder prepared, one which is heavy and thick.
I've also got the will and determination to try and sacrifice a good chunk of my monthly income to try and get someone onboard full-time. Not sure if it'll work, an editor is expensive of course and I only have -so much money- to work with, but with luck I might be able to find a saviour who's desperate enough for a job or just happens to like TTS to the point where a mediocre paycheck is acceptable or... something... probably not...
WE WILL SEE.

2018-11-19 10:45:32 +0000 UTCOh boy, okay, so the criteria I've currently got going are the following; "Criteria: I'll be looking for a person who has prior knowledge of the editing program used to create the series (Adobe After Effects). Someone who can look at pretty much any of the videos on the Bruva Alfabusa channel and go; "yeah, I can do that". I'll be looking for a person who has the time to work on TTS. Someone who is willing and able to spend several hours a week finishing up scenes at a phase roughly similar to my own. I'll be looking for a person with a robust computer, good internet and big harddrives. I'll be looking for a person with a friendly, reserved attitude who's willing to work with someone like me for the foreseeable future. Most importantly though, I'll be looking for a person who doesn't fall to demotivation. The absolute hardest thing about working on a project like TTS is that is an extremely monotonous and tedious job that isn't exactly artistically fulfilling. You will spend hours editing a single video at a snails phase and it'll drain your brain of fuel quite quickly. It is important that you can handle this kind of work and keep at it even though you find it awfully boring. People from northern Europe are the definite preference, but in the case that the very best alternative in all other regards happens to live in a completely different part of the world, we can still make things work. Another preference is for people who've actually watched the series and 'got it'. They don't neccesarily have to be the biggest fan of the show, but having watched it and understood what we are going for is a big plus." Albeit, this is all of course WIP and might be altered slightly.

Your car battery shitting itself is probably a sign that your car is draining the battery while its off. That probably means your alternator has a bad diode in it. It could also be that the battery itself was just a piece of shit.

Also there's a lot of scantily clad saints, scarab beetles, and people with horned armor in this library (both Magnus and the statue behind him). They should check to make sure they're on Terra. Unless Magnus built himself a sexy library just for himself while he was on Terra last time. I suppose he probably did, now I consider his priorities.

PLUS the news that Chaos Descends is potentially coming back soon-ish?! I'm a content little fellow for a while! Like most, I wouldn't be the LEAST offended if you took a day to unwind and said 'screw it for an afternoon' when you're having a rough day. We love hearing from ya, but no pressure. We love you and your work, and part of that love is our want to have you be happy while making us happy. You can't make us happy while your house is burning down and you insist that everything is fine. Chill out with the poke men's for a while longer. We'll wait.
