Once again, ten days have passed. Frightening.
Time for update.
EP27 Update
So, I decided to post the first quick preview of EP27 up above! It's actually from the second scene in the episode, but I think it works well either way, it's the very beginning of the scene, and I believe it was pretty obvious to start off with that they've returned to the Palace by this episode.
You may notice that I am playing around with some filters to even out the aesthetic, and that the detail of the characters and the backgrounds sort of shift depending on who's talking and the general mood of the conversation.
Other than that, Zojam is keeping on working on the first scene while I am working on this one! Earndil is now also helping me with independent voice direction and hunting down people for voicelines as to keep my schedule even cleaner, which is super appreciated.
Other News
I have mostly focused on EP27 this week, but Upper Hive is also making progress! The movements in it are incredibly simple to due both its length and its scope, so I am avoiding spending too much time to small, neat details. The hilarity is, for the most part, in the audio, after all, the visuals are only there to distinguish between players and immerse you even further into the shitty Hive World of Purgatory.
In addition, I THOUGHT I'D ASK YOU, DEAR PATRONS, would you at all be interested in us releasing a Short anyway, inbetween 26 and 27?
Voy wrote a draft of a potentially fun short starring Kitten and Magnus accidentally ending up in the Warp for a few seconds inbetween the events of 26 and 27. It goes full ham on the 'Magnus is Australian' joke for reasons.
Thought I'd ask if you'd like to see that, do tell me if you would!
Other than that, uh, I've been exercising like supreme death hell and not eating candy. I hate it but it works, I guess, got more energy.
