EP26 Part 2 Update - Leman Crush

10 days have passed once more. Update time!


EP26 Update:
Last update, I talked about how the upcoming 10 days would be fairly eventless, allowing me to work a whole lot more. And, yeah, I was correct in that assessment, I've mostly been working this entire time, perhaps an unhealthy amount, but there's only so many weeks in a year where I'm completely on my own in this apartment, so it's definitely worth it!

I promised both you and myself that I would get done more than 4 minutes worth of video the next time I updated. And, yeah, I did succeed in doing this. Since last time, time I've finished up a little more than 4 and a half minutes.

As usual, I do feel like I could've done more, 'cause I did run into a few minor things that stopped me from editing for a while, but, all in all, I feel fairly content with these 10 days. I got to edit what might be my favourite scene in the video thus far (see above gif for teaser) and I've now gotten to a point where I truly know that it's only a bunch of dialogue and not a whole lot of action, which is about the most simplistic thing to edit in these videos.

My goal for the 19th (which will be the next time I update) will be to have finished at the very least 4 and a half minutes more.
Really starting to close in on the goal now. A few months ago, the scenes I'm currently editing were so, so far away that I didn't know when or even how I'd reach them, but now I have. This episode has truly been a fffffffucking journey.

What else is going on?

I could mention that Earndil has been helping me out a lot by writing the skeleton for the next podcast episode, which will be about the oldest 40k novel that exists, Draco (or Inquisitor) by Ian Watson.
It'll still be a while before that becomes a thing, but it is being prepared, and Thunder thinks it might become the funniest podcast yet. I agree with that sentiment.

I've also gotten a whole lot of ideas for fresh new videos I'd like to make a reality eventually;

First of all, I'd like to start making more short videos. Like, actual short videos. Not 20 minute videos that I pretend are 'shorts'.
When I'm done with EP27, I'll try to bust out a short but fun video each month. I'll make sure that they're short and to the point, the kind of videos that could potentially be nice and fun gateways into the channel as a whole. Videos that take place in the TTS universe, but aren't neccesarily connected to the plot in any way.
Two ideas I've come up with thus far is one about a Snotling accidentally finding his arcane roots, instigating a rebellion against his oppressive Orkish masters, and another one where an Ork Warboss lands on fuckin Azeroth.

I've also been considering making a series of commentary videos where me and a great council of individuals with different relations to TTS, and 40k as a whole, watch and discuss our opinions on all TTS episodes from the very beginning. Other than it possibly sparking some really interesting discussing, it might allow me to figure out exactly what about TTS is even making it popular in the first place, and might give me some space to clarify reasons behind weird oddities or incorrect lore displayed throughout the series' history.
