So, I received the full art for the next H scene from Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan!!!. Artist Chayon truly went above and beyond, delivering some of their best work, proving that the wait was worth it.

It means that I now have all the art I currently had commissioned, which leads into two obvious observations :
1 - I must commission the next round soon, so I'll probably consult you guys for your opinion on where we are taking things.
2 - I am now able to complete and deliver both the Yumi-Chan and Bodyguard Girl Deluxe builds very, very soon. You guys just might have two playable builds in rapid succession over the first half of November.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be capable of delivering a build before the end of October, which is today. I'm stuck working on Halloween night, so I'll be missing on the whole thing. This is very sad to me, but, ya know, work is work.

That said, I made some good work on The Bodyguard Girl Deluxe, and the scene is almost complete. It would have been completed sooner had I not decided to make the end branch out in two ways, one of which includes a game over (you know what that means, right?)!

I'll go over more details on the build itself once I release it, which should be in three to four days, tops. Please be patient, I'm trying to make it worth the wait.

And that's it. It is raining today, as it has been for the past few days over here, which is sure to dampen the enthusiasm of the kids for Halloween. This year is just not a good one for All Hallows' Eve, it seems. Oh well, there's always next time, right?

Thanks for the comment, I’m actually surprised and flattered that you would be this invested in the story that you have such pertinent questions to ask. Have you played the latest episode? Hopefully it adresses some of your concerns, especially those around the protagonist. I have a rather passive personality myself, so I suppose I inject a lot of it in the protagonists of my games, but this tends to turn the stories into this typical, unrealistic situation where the hero has all this female attention drawn to him in an unexplainable manner. I do recognize that, and in response the game is slowly entering its final arc where the girls confront the protag’s passiveness more openly, forcing him into situations where his personality must shine through brighter. My hope is that, by the end of the story, the protag’s character arc comes as somewhat subversive, in the sense that he started out as more or less a typical blank canvas but is now forced to reckon with the fact that being the ‘blank canvas protag’ is unsustainable in the long run. Whether I succeed in communicating this intent is down to my own limited talent as a writer. I’ll let you guys decide if I did it well or not. Yumi herself also has her own hangups that cause the budding relationship with the protag to linger in some sort of self-imposed purgatory, and I am planning to address those in the very last episode of the game, coming soon, eventually. Perhaps I should have adressed those issues earlier in the story, that is valid criticism. I got distracted by the many scene ideas I tried to cram into the game. —- Finally, about the humiliation aspect. I found myself having trouble really selling the ‘teasing brat’ aspect of Yumi’s personality in my writing, so I might have been trying to compensate by going all-in with the fetish scenes and stuff. On more ‘technical’ level, I’ve been struggling with the length of the scenes themselves as well. I’m always concerned about making them too short, I really want you guys to get the most out of each piece of art I commission for the game, so could it be possible that sometimes the scenes drag on for too long, turning what would normally be a fun light-hearted humiliation into a sad excrutiating ordeal? I suppose it can be seen as such, although if that’s the case, then it is certainly not my intention. In an H scene, there is a clear endpoint, obviously. But in a playful fetish scene, where does it end? When do I decide that the player has enough content to be satisfied? This is another situation where I am still looking for the perfect balance. I hope this answers your questions!

I've started following your project again after being busy with personal issues for a long time and I wanted to ask a question about "Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan!!!", will the protagonist develop, like becoming less naive outside of intimate relationships, respecting himself, developing a talent, or having more attitude? (I'm not hating, it's a sincere question) Sometimes I feel that too many humiliations are annoying when they last too long. Being submissive is okay, it's his sexual preference, but in everyday life it starts to get tiring because if the ending is for him to end up with Yumi, who is his best friend, it's already tiring to see her humiliating him unnecessarily all the time from the first second of the game and still being indecisive about their relationship and him continuing not to progress. This makes me want to avoid her route as much as possible with the mentality of "since he's not going to change, I prefer to interact with the others".
