I wonder how the rest of BBay will react when Sun shows up regularly with her on trips and playing with the kids.

Taylor is going through things but at least she has someone who is on her side. Judging by her reaction there is very little that the PRT can do to get her to work with them. I’m sure that if heaven saw what was happening they’d probably be in panic over Wukong somehow getting a disciple that is equal to him on escalating a situation. Would love to see Wukong say something along the lines of how the first time someone (aka heaven) tried to arrest him that they were more competent than the PRT.

2025-03-09 19:29:21 +0000 UTCGiven all the information they have, and Wukong's lack of 'common sense', Piggot and heroes are honestly acting pretty sanely. But Wukong did not flinch when the armies of Heaven itself came to collect him, I highly doubt he will be intimidated by the PRT and Protectorate, lol. He follows no rules but his own. Taylor is naturally dealing with a lot, but love how Wukong is trying to be emotional support for her without being overbearing, and now he is her Master! I'm sure the idea of Wukong having a discipline would make the Heavens piss themselves if they heard, hehehe. And doubly so if they knew about the queen of escalation herself. Arc ended in a bang, and looking forward to reactions and effects of it all. Taylor's Dad, the heroes meeting Wukong in truth, Taylor's teaching/growing into herself as an outed cape, dealing with gangs and potentially other outside forces, etc.

2025-03-09 16:42:39 +0000 UTCSheer f*cking brilliance, and that's an understatement. First off, the PRT scene, which was absolutely pitch-perfect. After seeing so many Worm fics demonize Piggot and the organization, it is such a breath of fresh air to see her portrayed like this. She's pragmatic and cutthroat, yes, but she's not an idiot by any stretch of the imagination. She's got a great read of the situation, she's taking the accusations against Sophia seriously even if she's prioritizing protecting the PRT, and she formulated an incredibly solid plan of action. You really did a fantastic job showing her at her best! And then we get to the Taylor scene, and that was just as perfect. Seeing Taylor's emotional journey, the path she took to decide to become a genuine hero, and Sun Wukong's quiet presence throughout, was just so beautiful and so heartwrenching. And Wukong himself continues to show just how much his journey has changed him, and just how amazing a person he is. Well, "being," but you get the gist. But with this arc now having concluded, I can't help but wonder how things are going to go from here. Obviously Taylor and Sun Wukong are going to be a hero duo, but how will Taylor's training progress? What will the PRT end up doing to try to bring Wukong in? (Incidentally, I am extremely curious about the role Missy is going to play in this. After all, she's an eyewitness to exactly what Wukong was doing before heading to Winslow, and that account is definitely going to make things even more complicated.) How will the gangs react? And will poor Peizhi be able to make it out of this without suffering a nervous breakdown? So many threads to follow, and I can't wait to see where they end up going! Brilliant work as always!
