EC is the publishing company behind Tales From the Crypt, Weird Science, Mad and other comics in the 1950s. "EC" stood for Educational Comics, when William Gaines took the business over after his father's death (boating accident), he changed that to Entertaining Comics. The EC line folded but Mad continued. Today, Oni Press, together with the EC estate have revived the EC brans for a series of horror anthologies. The one I'm working for is called Catacomb of Torment. The first issue is due next month, my first story is in the second issue in August. I don't know which issue the script I'm currently writing is scheduled for.
