I found several unfinished Hacktober index card drawings from 2021. So I finished two of them. I'm going to post them tomorrow on the plain ol' social media, hopefully I can get another one done sometime. It would be nice to have all 31 days covered for Halloween. I've thought about using these to make a zine. Or something. When I have some extra time. I mean, when I have some "extra time".
Anyway, regarding this Hacktober card. This is one of the killers (it's complicated) from the movie ANGUISH (1987). If you haven't seen it, it's worth a watch. I'm not going to get into the plot because that would be telling. Maybe. It's above average and at times terrific, and it has some twists. And turns. And stuff. There's some really nifty use of spiral imagery in the movie, I kept thinking about Junji Ito's Uzumaki while the first half unfolded. Although I doubt he's ever seen this fairly obscure oddity. It just made me think of it. You might, too, but only as far as the spiral imagery itself goes. But there's other weird stuff going on here for sure.
Hope everyone's been having a happy and fun Halloween season despite October being a soul-crusher. Everybody take care and remember to take a deep breath every once in a while. I forget to, but maybe you're better at it than I am.
Speaking of Halloween and the horror, the WFMU radio show I sat in on as a guest this past weekend has been archived and is available for listening. You can see the program notes by clicking the link below, it will take you to DJ Fox's archives page at WFMU. You'll see which old horror shows were played, which we also talked about during the show (among other stuff, because we're both good at going off topic). I had a great time hanging out and talking radio and Halloween and Halloween radio. Here's the link for the archive page to listen to the show:

More soon, later.
