Quick Update/Good News
Added 2022-02-02 22:48:46 +0000 UTCIn case you aren't following on social media or haven't seen it yet, Sarah is resting after a nearly 17-hour surgery at Sloan-Kettering. Actually, two surgeries. She was admitted to a room earlier and is resting. She says she "feels like shit but I'm alive".
We were told she'll likely be in the hospital up to two weeks. There's still a lot to deal with, follow-up procedures and possibly one more minor surgery, a lot involved with what will be a slow and extended recovery. But the worst hurdle is over. The doctors are confident about the main issue being taken care of, which is great news. All-around, this has been the best possible outcome to be hoped for, despite the remaining seriousness of the situation.
Anyway, a lot going on. Thanks for all the well-wishes and kind comments and everyone pulling for her.
