Cryptid Art For An Unproduced Fabric Design

A lot of older work is still in purgatory on a busted hard drive from Sarah's computer, so I'm trying to scan some of the art that I have on hand that I don't have on my computer in order to can share it here. 

These are most of the finished ink drawings I did for the third fabric design we were putting together for a clothing company, after the Baby Cthulhu and Monster projects. Unfortunately things went super sour at the company, long story, complete disaster, I couldn't even begin to tell you if I wanted to. Sarah was also working as their art director, so, it was a bummer situation all-around (although we could read the ranting on the wall and knew in advance that things were going south). 

But we had fun while it lasted. We got to design some fabric together, Sarah designed and art-directed a bunch of nifty things, and I have three batches of drawings I'm still very happy with. It would have been cool if the Cryptid fabric got made, but we were paid for the work and we own the art, so not a complete loss. I hope the drawings can be used for another project at some point, maybe a Teepublic design or something. Right now that sort of thing is still on hold.

Anyway, here are all the drawings I finished, including a few new versions for a couple of figures we needed to re-size. The only art I didn't scan were extra arms and details for possible use on some of the figures. 

How many of these cryptid critters can you name? A couple of the figures are infamously fake cryptids, FYI. Not that i believe in any cryptids (I mean, I wish they existed, believe you, me -- I love them and I'm deeply interested in cryptozoology and reading about hunters and encounters -- but I'm a non-believer regarding it all as well as semi-related psychic and supernatural stuff).
