Hello, dear drones. Hex here.
Massive Disclaimer: I am not a fitness expert. I've taken a lot of guidances from pre-existing stretching routines and fitness websites. This is pretty much just for fun! Perform these stretches at your own risk (especially if you're also dressed like the drone in the above video).
I'm also not a disclaimer writing expert so hopefully that covers everything.
So I'm calling this video a prototype as I'm not 100% satisfied with the end product! I feel like we can do way better in terms of an actually instructive stretching video, and I will be looking to do that in future.
That said, I feel like we're 90% of the way there! We'd always have to focus on standing stretches, so that the drone can remain standing to attention, even as it completes these motions. And you can return to your default state, standing to attention until the next order is given.
It just works so well~
This is the sort of thing where we only realise the obvious flaws after we give it a shot. Sometimes drones simply have to learn via repeating a task multiple times.
For take two, I would want the drone to hold these stretches for way long. Finding the exact amount of time is an interesting one. I'd probably want to aim for 30 seconds for each muscle per stretch, which would then make the routine considerably longer. But it's not like that time matters if your brain is switched off, huh?
It also means I can add way more instructive commentary. I recorded a lot, only to discover with the shoulder stretches that the drone was doing them for such a short time period that I had to trim the audio right down.
This is also something I need to handle with care, as ultimately this is exercise and it's important we really have as much information available for it as possible. I'd highly advise to use this for both fun and inspiration. I could make as intricate and detailed a stretching routine as possible, but in the end it would not come close to you doing your own research and figuring out one that's bespoke to you! Regardless though, I'm still going to make these anyway (while making them as beginning friendly and safe as possible) because the idea of you following along mindlessly and copying these motions is such an appealing concept.
Your feedback would be adored, darling assets!
