Title: A Twist in the Kombat Towers

Duke managed to survive his first bout of Kombat with Mileena. Given he was not the most experienced fighter, his strategy was a matter of wills and gadgetry than actual fighting skills, and after his first victory, he was confident that he had a chance to continue climbing the tower. He ended up facing his next opponent, Sonya Blade.

"What's with the toy, tough guy?" Sonya asked cooly.

"Expansion beam. It's not a toy, unless you want to play..." Duke retorted, twirling the beam confidently.

The two went into battle, and while Sonya lacked giant teeth and claws, her fighting skills were top notch, and she was reading Duke's every move. Even when he could outsmart her, he was getting his ass beat by a rounder and rounder Sonya Blade, whose swelling physique was not stopping her from beating her.

By the time the battle was lost for Duke, Sonya's size finally caught up to her, and she found herself too big to finish him off...
