Added 2023-10-08 14:00:01 +0000 UTCDuke's Dreamscape is a world simulator, one that allowed him or anyone he permitted to be transported to other places through simulated dreams. The machine was capable of controlling the dreams, as well as giving the person inside vivid recollection, allowing them to remember what they did and saw. Those outside of the Dreamscape can watch scenarios unfold from the computer screen.
Today, Duke wanted to try something out. He signed onto Steam, and after taking a game from his library and putting the files through his DreamScape program, Mortal Kombat 11 was turned into a proper world. He gave the Dreamscape a test run, and the next thing he knew, he was face to face with the first of the tower. Mileena, interested in ravaging this newcomer's flesh, confronted him.
The fight that broke out was one for the ages. Never had Duke faced anyone as ferocious as Mileena. He could not shake her off or attack her hard enough to win the round, but he had a trick up his sleeve. Using his Dreamscape controls, he copied his own character file several times, and the next thing Mileena knew, she was surrounded by multiple Dukes, all of them synced together with the same goal; Beat her down and win.
The fight ended with the classic "Finish her!" and Duke had just the thing. A stick of gum from his jacket pocket. He put the stick of gum in Mileena's mouth, and she chewed in protest. She hated blueberry pie, and worse for her, she was now turning blue all over, to an audience of Dukes...
