State of the Damaged
Added 2024-01-03 15:05:34 +0000 UTCI like to keep you all abreast of where I'm at and what might impact my writing, so here goes.
First, internet connection. On the 25th Dec, my net died dramatically and hasn't come back. There is no ETA at this moment and I'm burning data on my phone to manage what presence I can.
Second, November (at least the parts not dominated by a painful thumb operation) revealed something that I need to spend a little more time focused on: me time. In the coming months, I will be slowly reducing the scheduled "monthly commission days" down as I complete them/phase them out. As I get older, I find myself writing a little slower but at a higher quality than ever before. I'd like to continue this trend, and that means sacrificing a little income. So be it.
