Getting to know Haylee

Meet Haylee. Despite attending the same high-school as Max, they never interacted, as she was a shy and introverted person who preferred to keep to herself. Since leaving school and growing into an adult, Haylee has begun to come out of her shell and is more confident in herself.

She is currently juggling her studies with a part-time job at a convenience store. Not much is revealed about her personal life, but she does have a good sense of humor and can appreciate a nicely timed sarcastic comment. She’s not one to suffer fools and will quickly see through any attempt to deceive her. Despite her newly found confidence, she still seems to be easily bossed around by other characters.

Throughout the game, the player's choices will affect Haylee's relationship with her mother and other characters. As the player navigates through the game, they will see how their actions impact Haylee's life and shape her character. Haylee's journey will be one of self-discovery as she learns to break free from her introverted past and embrace her true self. The player will have the power to shape Haylee's future and determine the type of person she ultimately becomes.

Progress Report

The Alison and Haylee scene is effectively split in two. As the player, you will have the choice to help Alison or Haylee. Although helping Haylee requires you to have accepted the job at the supermarket.

The end afternoon Kimberley's scene will get moved into the evening. This scene requires a new location for the exterior of the Shopping Mall. I felt this would otherwise cause an unnecessary delay to the afternoon update getting released.

The afternoon will now end with Natasha's scene. I'm working on the Alison/Haylee scene, with the Natasha one still to go. I would estimate this is around 85-90% of the renders complete.

I am in the process of re-rendering some earlier scenes due to background images. Whilst those backgrounds are licensed, they could create a potential issue for certain gaming platforms in the future. These re-renders won't be ready for this upcoming release, but you will notice some new background images in certain locations going forward.
