It doesn't matter if the boy doesn't find out that his mother is having an affair with the delivery man,This detail is optional it doesn't really matter whether it's there or not,And I don't think it really affects the story later on anyway.

Waiting so long for this to happen is, well, disappointing, i can only hope that the sequels to Missing, Magic Wand, or The Bully remake won't be disappointing as well.
