Update #2: Building A Fantasy Village

This final update has been in the works for the past 6 months now. Having been out sick for so long, it's actually been sitting finished on my desk for the last month so I'm happy to finally be able to share it.

The goal of the project is to figure out a 3D model design that is easy to build and works in tandem with the top-down art I've been working on for so long now. In due time I might look into producing these models as boxes you can just order or ones I would possibly send out to patrons (I'll have to look into how that would even work). For now, it's just an experiment based on that idea, one you can print and build along with me at home.

I've updated my website to feature a sort of devlog/blog that goes into the development of the project. You can read more about it HERE.

You can download all the project files HERE or find them on the website. I'd love to figure out how I can make this as user-friendly as possible. As with all things, it obviously depends on how interested people are in a side project like this if I keep expanding on it, but I really love what I've been able to achieve with it so far.

I plan on using the DISCORD CHANNEL for any questions, as usual, I am still having lots of issues with the Patreon chat or you can hit me up at crossheadstudios@gmail.com

Comments

The cardstock is 1.3mm thick. The thickest I could get to print from my home printer. It's an epson et 8550
