I feel you on Berger. I'm a veteran of the US Army and I actually enlisted in 1978. The military is 8 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 8-10 weeks of Infantry Training of whatever ones branch of service or MOS military Occupational Specialty. Even then a private has a lot to learn. Imagine a civilian with none of this training being placed in one of the most insidious war situations ever, no weapons training, nothing. Of course he was killed. It's so sad, but he was a true friend and this is a great movie. There were two really good musicals that I saw in the 70's HAIR and Jesus Christ Superstar. Hope you get to watch that sometimes.

You watched HAIR now you need to watch SHAMPOO by Hal Ashby. Director of HAROLD AND MAUD, BEING THERE, and THE LAST DETAIL.

I actually had two or three musicals on my next movie list and I was really wondering if you'd be able to do them given the musical content. Now I know!

Wow, the thumbnail! I'm thinking Targaryan. I'll have to do this FWA even though I am also not a huge fan of musicals either.
