There was one actress in this film you've seen before, but you didn't recognize her. It was Thelma Ritter, who played the nurse in *Rear Window*, the one who would come to care for Jimmy Stewart. In this, she's Peter's mother, the woman that Chris Kringle told to go to the other stores. And the little girl, Susan, is played by Natalie Wood, who was a prominent actress until her controversial drowning death in 1981. Coby is wearing another color but black, you know it must be Christmas time.
