January #2 - Procreate Charcoal Fun!

We've been a little scribbly so far this month. It's a nice compromise between getting the traditional feel without needing to actually draw traditionally that I can show you guys (bc I absolutely hate taking pictures of trad drawings)

Genuinely these brushes are as fun as scribbling with pencil and charcoal!

The first one was done with the colour pencil pack by Fatima Mandouh, and the rest of them were drawn with the charcoal master pack by Lane.Draws - both can be found...

Comm Art Process + PSD ✨

Finding poses and scenes has been getting increasingly harder, especially for more modern characters. Irl casual photo poses and backgrounds don't always translate well into a drawing, so I opted to go for the "vibes only" route.

I wanted something laid-back that still expressed her fashion and remembered seeing some exhibition posters with some street-style graphics on them that could fit (I think the poster look could've been ...

December #3 - A single comm

Time... moves so fast... But progress... is so slow...

I think I have almost every single layer still preserved in the PSD file, including the layers of the: outfit design, poses, thumbnails and character painting.

November dump #2 - Lots of trial and error

So. Much. Reworking.

1-3: The feel from the sketch keeps getting lost as soon as I add colours or shadows or clean it up a little... Maybe because the slight head turn gets lost? Either way... *sigh* sometimes (90% of the time for me actually) you gotta throw in the towel and restart or come back with more clarity on what you're trying to convey..

SPOOKY SEASON - HALLOWEEN SUGGESTIONS? 👻✨

It's been a hot second since the gals and the pals have made an appearance and I thought it'd be fun to put them into some costumes together! I have a few ideas, but I'd love to hear your suggestions and input!! 

You guys have complete free reign - from vague/general costume ideas to specific cosplays, something silly, and yes you may go into the unhinged territory too~
