There is a great TV miniseries about the Shackleton expedition starring Kenneth Branagh as Ernest Shackleton. Haven’t seen it for quite a while, but I remember rather enjoying it.

2025-04-05 11:03:00 +0000 UTCI don't know if you do any screenplays but if you think this was a story of survival you should look into The Endurance and Shackleton's expedition to the South Pole. Maybe you should get something going on a movie about that. I think there have only been docos so far.

2025-04-04 07:58:36 +0000 UTCOh, by the way, if you want to see more on the subject of early 19th century seafaring and a dead-pan accurate depiction of the period, I highly recommend Peter Weir‘s "Master and Commander - The Far Side Of The World" with Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany. Amazing movie.
