Card Declines

Hey Lords and Ladies. A little bad news...

Unfortunately we are are nowhere near we thought with all the card declines this month.

To say I'm a little disappointed is an understatement. I was really counting on that money especially with the payment for the MUCH needed new computer.

Don't worry I'm not like living on the street or anything. I do try an be prepared. ^^

But this may mean I may have to start sending out Dropbox links as unfortunately there are a lot of unscrupulous people out there who like to piss in the pool.

Anyway new computer is at customs. Just waiting for it to clear.

Thank you for your patience and your continued support.

Thanks! I feel the same way about your comics as well. I was a FLAA subscriber for a while and had great fun with your content.

Oh yeah I'm not giving up ladyfriend! And Patreon is a fantastic idea after all. It really helps us creators get our ideas out there. I am sure that they are hard at work to solve these kinds of issues. And by the way, Tracy, I've seen some of your comics before. :D Really great stuff. I am a HUGE spidey fan myself. ;)

Some great advice Tracy.

Also, don't be afraid to delete declined pledges. Send those patrons a note about the payment processing failing and give them a few days to contact you about fixing the problem. After that, it's important to delete them to get your actual amount pledged close to what you're really being paid. You can do so on the patron manager below: https://www.patreon.com/manageRewardsList

Just so you know, Patreon is implementing many changes for the next weeks already. As of now, Patrons can no longer delete pending pledges. Also, they will be soon implementing a new payments infrastructure that will charge patrons immediately on their first pledge. Don't give up on the system yet. I've been here for an year now, and I've seen a lot of stumbles and off-roads, but they're always concerned to find the best ground for creators (and I've seen they go long miles for creators that most people wouldn't bat an eye for).

Yeah. I was talking to a few other artists they had some problems this month as well. It seems a bunch of 'bots" were signing up for Patreon and then you go to the persons page and the artist site was the only person they had signed up for. There was no information on them and so forth. Hopefully this has been sorted out but we will see I suppose. I'm not gonna let it get me down ^^ because i know I have fans out there like you guys and gals. :D

Damn, no matter what system, people will always look for a way to get what they want without paying. That really defeats the whole spirit of patreon I feel. I will admit that I first stumbled upon Manaworld on a thread that was likely posted without permission, but it sounds like these people are just out to scam.
