Breaking Point - the Mike and Bill cut!

Last week we put our 35th live show under our collective belts! "Point Break" was live in front of an audience at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, and as is typical for these events, we premiered the latest RiffTones song for the end credits! (The song is also available in MP3 and FLAC formats RIGHT NOW for our Kickstarter backers from the $60 "SUPER PACKAGE" level and higher!)

Our video editor Tony Masiello put together a music video that's included with the reward, but I asked him to put together a special version that includes cut-aways to Mike and Bill during the little "breakdown" about halfway through. And you can watch it in the player above, as well as download it here through Vimeo. This is an exclusive just for Patrons! And I don't know about you, but I think their little pop-up bubbles make all the difference.
We've got some more fun stuff coming at you now that the show itself is "in the can" (as they say in "the biz") and so stay tuned for that.

Was there supposed to be a pre-show thing like usual? The screen was blank until the 7pm start time and lead directly into the Point Break event. Also, much sadness there wasn't any shorts this year. Rip

2024-08-09 02:40:49 +0000 UTCRegarding this show being filmed in front of a live audience in advance of the national presentation, I'd like to say that we, my spouse and I, being in California, are happy that the only idiocy and failures that we have to deal with are on our theater's end. (There has been idiocy and failure) I would recommend that you go back behind the curtain and tell everyone that prefers the illusion of Live being Live that you were totally joking, it's just as live as it has always been... just as live as that copy of Frampton Comes Alive, the Nirvana MTV Unplugged in New York, Saturday Night Live, or Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in any other time zone. We're going to imagine that you all have done this so that you could sneak into theater's around the country and watch this live show with the fans that can't make it to the Live taping.
