Erik here, with apologies for the long delay in uploading this one. Vimeo and Patreon no longer play nicely together, and this has caused some of our previous uploads to not upload correctly, resulting in playback issues and posts just not appearing as they should. Therefore, I've decided to reupload this through Patreon's video platform! And the crowd goes wild! (Yayyy!)
A little while back we released a riff on one of the many (seriously, there's a lot of these) questionable Amityville Horror pseudo-sequels. It turns out that, because Amityville is the name of a place, you can't really trademark it; so anyone can just put "Amityville" in their movie title all willy-nilly, and watch the accolades roll in — no matter if your MacGuffin is an evil lamp on a cross-country trip, or a haunted dollhouse.
