Time for the May Update!
The Makeship Deadbeat campaign has now concluded with 1586 plushes sold!
It's hard to articulate how blown away I am with the support shown on the campaign. Before we kicked off the campaign, I was a bit worried that we wouldn't have meet the initial 200 amount required to get the plushes made.
It took, what, like less than a day for it to reach that amount? That certainly took a load off my mind making the goal that quick, after which I switched over to thinking the upper limit of sales would reach around probably 500 or so. When it was all said and done, you all bought 1000+ more than my best guess.
Needless to say, I'm extremely grateful for everyone who picked up a Deadbeat plush. I am also very grateful to Makeship, as working with them was a really great experience. They have expressed interest in wanting to do future campaigns and I have a general idea in what I'd like to look into next. So it's safe to say this won't be the only/last one of these campaigns, but I'll let everyone know when those ideas better solidify.
As for when the Deadbeat plushes will reach people, I believe they should ship sometime around August 19th!
Also, thank you to everyone that went over to support Mystery Skulls themselves with the release of the Gold Album.
If you haven't had the chance to catch it, you should be able to find it here-

In terms of video news, much of the focus is leaning in towards the ending sequence and getting in the last remaining shots of the main section. We've definitely got some incredible work turned in recently so its getting more and more painful on our end that we have to keep it under wraps.
That said, there's certainly no shortage of clean up work to get to and a giant rainbow colored nightmare demon fox is going to ensure that we stay busy.
I want to to give a special notice towards ZeBirdBrain, who has been helping us out in that process (among other things!). She put up a Toon Boom video tutorial that specifically goes over animation clean up in regards to getting sharp, pointy edges to lines (there's definitely no shortage of that on this project...)
In the video, there's a bit of a preview of a shot from the new video in there, so go watch it both to get some good Toon Boom advice and a peak at a shot!
