Time for the February Update and this time around we got something special to show off-
The official Deadbeat Plush!
We talked with Makeship to see if we could make a plush with them and I just recently got the prototype in my hands and it looks great!
So, for those unaware, the way Makeship works is that there will be a 3 week campaign in which to preorder the plush. Should enough preorders go through (200), production will kick off and the plush will get made. Should it fall under that 200 mark, the plush will not get made and refunds will go to those that pre-order.
So for this month's Patreon, I wanted to gauged people's interest in this to see when best would it be to properly begin the campaign! If you'd like to see this plush's campaign around Spring or would like to wait until Fall, let me know!
The plush itself will be $29.99 to get and will be available for world wide shipping!
Should this campaign work out, we'd also like to get some additional characters made with them as well!
In video news, animation continues to roll in! To no one's real shock, Murder Mystery is uh.. quite the thing to do animation for but we're getting there! Backgrounds are continuing to get ramped up, while we've completed the writing we needed for the backend of the video.
As a heads up, I won't be having a Patreon post for March. For the first time in years, I'll finally making a trip to Japan to see family! As such, I won't be around for the end of the month, so we'll bring back the posts in April.

I feel like Fall would be the best time for the campaign since it would coincide with the usual spooky season hype, especially if everything goes well and the vid comes out this year! 2023-03-01 05:56:10 +0000 UTCOh ok interesting, I think the only other makeship plush I've gotten was Sploot (I think?) so I'm not super familiar with them as a crowdfunding/preorder company. The design for that is really smart, it'll make them super easy to display. Lots of character plush can be tedious to sit up. It's super cute!

2023-03-01 05:33:39 +0000 UTCI think the price point is something Makeship specifically sets so I don't think we have much wiggle room on our end. And it does not have beans at the bottom, the way the tail curves inward is what is helping it stand up!

The fabric looks nice and is it beans on the bottom to help it sit up? I really like that it sits. (I know plushies can be really expensive to go for as merch and I will likely still get it but that's just my base line first impression from a consumer pov) - tone intent is neutral -
