Tonight on Scener: Richard Terry Thursday! Plus: Supersonic Man!

Way back in 2014, the brilliant people at National Geographic Channel thought it'd be a great idea to let Mike, Kevin, and Bill do some riffing on a few NatGeo shows. And we wholeheartedly agreed! Thus, Total Riff Off aired on April 1st of 2014.
So on the anniversary of that momentous occasion, I thought it might be fun for this Turkey Thursday to revisit two fan-favorite episodes featuring the hammiest Turkey of them all: Richard Terry!
The main event begins at 5:30pm Pacific / 8:30 pm Eastern at the RiffTrax Scener theater.
Before that, though, we'll have a Traxian-only Watch Party of SUPERSONIC MAN at 3:30pm Pacific / 6:30pm Eastern in The Traxian Room, since we weren't able to watch it last time. I'll also be screening the Wonder Woman 1984 Extended Preview!

Also, good news for you Scenesters: the folks at Scener fixed the issues from last time, and the Chrome extension was just updated today. (Not an April Fools' joke!) I recommend making sure you close and restart your Chrome browser, just to make sure you get the latest update.

This is a known issue - right now there is not "full" support for Scener on tablets or mobile devices; you need to use a desktop or laptop computer. However I have it on good authority that Scener hopes to offer some kind of mobile device implementation in the future, it's just a large task that is current undergoing development. Of course if you have another way to watch Vimeo, you can still use the iPad to watch my camera and interact with the chat room, and use the timecode displayed on the Scener chat bar to sync up the Vimeo video separately. Obviously that's not a streamlined method, so that's why I recommend just using a computer rather than a tablet or mobile device. As soon as Scener has the option for mobile devices we'll be sure to let everyone know about it so we can do some testing!

2021-04-01 19:08:37 +0000 UTCErik. I love the idea of the Scener viewings but I cannot get it to work with my iPad. It’s the latest iOS update and it doesn’t work with Scener Chrome. Am I missing something? Is there a way you can help me or direct me to a trouble shooting guide somehow? Thanks very much
