This is what happens when Jack Palance says "beam me up".

Cynthia Dunaway

Thank you for bringing us some Canadian video. I've seen the original, black-and-white "Shape of Things to Come." It also ends with a militant leader looking ridiculous. I miss Jack Palance. His Count Dracula was the most memorable, for me.

Bill Lemmond

I bet everybody's vocal cords will be shredded trying to do Jack Palance impersonations.

Barry Morse was also in a great Twilight Zone episode about a magic piano that would bring out your real personality. In his case, on the inside he was a scared, whiny little boy. Bonus was "Ollie" from "The Tingler" as an outward misanthrope who was really a kindly sentimentalist. I am afraid to think what this piano would do to Mike, Bill and Kevin.

No SPACE: 1999 jokes? No THE FUGITIVE jokes? Jeez. I bet you didn't even mention Barry Morse's bizarre turn in the X-rated movie THE TELEPHONE BOOK (which Jill Clayburgh is also in!). Well, I at lease expect references to his Nazi character in THE WINDS OF WAR and WAR AND REMEMBRANCE. Oh, for crying out loud! He was in both miniseries! Even the Jane Seymour character was recast between minis!

SPACE: 1999!!!! You betcha! I have loved that show for far, far, FAR too long. Hey, Mark: what about Maya, Tony, and Alan, who were also pals with Dr. Russell and Captain Koenig...? Season Two was a step back, maybe, but it wasn't a complete wash. (For the record, I loved Victor, too. : ) )

No Space 1999 series one comments? Not one about Professor Victor Bergman, who was pals with Martin Landau's Captain Koenig and Barbara Bain's Dr. Helena Russell? I may have said too much.

Mark Cappelletty

I imagine you could call that part of the set a "Palance beam". Bonk, bonk on the head!

Paul Rabogliatti

Can you put the part with Jack Palance getting bonked by a support beam on a loop for, like, ten minutes and sell it for $1.99? Because... KA-CHING!

Rob Graham

You youngsters! Barry Morse was Lt. Gerard in the TV series "The Fugitive"! He chased David Janssen all over hell and gone. He was in a ton of other stuff over the years. Nothing spectacular, but he spent decades as a working actor.
