Should Harry and Hermione Become Exclusive in Special Services in the Room of Requirement?

Yeah, having reread the story recently, I really understand this argument. Unless the results of the poll dramatically change, I think I'm going to leave their relationship in a limited-open status where they are more selective in who they invite (at least initially because I might expand it later). I do plan on focusing on developing Harry and Hermione's relationship as a central plot point, as well as their relationships with anyone who they share their bed with.

2023-04-20 20:16:52 +0000 UTCI'm not indecisive over what I would do as the author; I've just received a lot of comments and messages supporting Harry and Hermione remaining exclusive and very few the other way, so I wanted to gauge my patrons on the topic. If the results were skewed in the direction I assumed, I would have gone with the fan's opinion over mine. However, given how relatively even the results are, I'm going to stick with what I'd planned (unless the results change dramatically).

Getting to know other people from the “8th year” and making decisions together. I just can’t see Harry or Hermione being ok with watching the other fuck or get fucked. I feel like Hermione wouldn’t be secure enough especially this soon to want others involved and Harry has already shown his possessiveness regarding Hermione while in the room. I think that you wrote their relationship so well and made their getting together so wonderfully well done that it makes it harder to see them with others.

2023-04-20 19:32:55 +0000 UTCI want to say I'd recommend they remain exclusive, but I feel like that would kill this fic off fairly quickly, given that promiscuity is carved into that storyline. As you're the author, my recommendation is this: Write a chapter or two in both directions and publish a split storyline. Stick to whichever feels best/most natural to write.
