So I just bought www.latex.fi...

...and I really don't know what do with it, besides making it direct to Photour.net. (still awaiting Cloudflare to notice the change of ownership, not working yet)

Having a dot FI account is pretty nice, as it's a very trustworthy domain and easy to remember.

Any ideas? I could really use a project to get a distraction from my day job. Besides, my day job got a new video camera, Canon EOS C200, and I'm dying to try its 4K capabilities in shooting latex... but I'm lacking available models, locations and - for time being - time.

What can I do with latex.fi?

Wow. Um. You're right. You're totally right. I've never even thought of putting up a disclaimer up on the page, but I'll definitely need to do that. I'll also probably put up a casting call on Facebook when the time is right, but it looks like that I've got now 1–2 shoots planned, perhaps an old-fashioned Christmas shoot with Leila and sone in January with a brand new model, who – surprise – is one of my old connections who had before indicated interest in the project.

This isn't necessarily about latex.fi, but one thing I just realized about photour.net: the site does not contain any information about how people who are interested in modeling for you can actually join a Project L. Sure, I am fully aware that up until now, you had relied on models you knew personally or that you reached out to yourself in other ways. But seeing how you are considering to source new models, maybe putting up a disclaimer would be a good idea? You know, something saying "Hi, if you are interested in modeling for Project L, you should be cool and easy to work with, provide your own means of transportation (?), not hate dogs, agree to and understand the non-sexual concept of Project L, bring your own latex if desired/needed for size reasons..." Basically, telling people what you expect from models and what they can (or can't) expect from you. But if you want to keep recruiting offline, that's fine too. After all, we've had almost 70 projects so far and NONE has given the impression that the model was not comfortable with the photographer, or the other way around. I guess this can't be guaranteed when shooting with "strangers"...

I'm wary of fetish-related communities. Many of them go way overboard and... eh.

Maybe some tips for latex (care, putting it on and off, manufacturers, ...) or a photo album with just pictures of your work (Project L, not your day job of course :D ). Or maybe the first finnish latex community? Or maybe not, there are probably thousand ways this could go wrong...
