Quick Question for my audience

Right now times are difficult for a lot of people financially, and having to chose where your money goes can be a problem. With the holidays looming, and decisions having to be made I wanted to reach out to my audience as a whole to see what I can do to maybe make following my Patreon worth it.

YouTube views are down, both because of my content, and because of YouTube's algorithm nonsense. So the question becomes how do I get you all to hear more of my content while still making this feasible for me and you, my audience. I have some suggestions, but would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Your comments and thoughts would be extremely helpful as I try to make a decision on how to make things here better for you. Keep in mind, the lowest I can charge (per Patreon) is $3 a month.

P.S. I cannot commit to making MORE content than I'm already doing, as the schedule is already sort of burning me out at times trying to keep up with the demand of both YouTube and Patreon weekly audios.

P.P.S. I'm also looking at moving some of my adult NSFW audios to other websites to host such as Subscribestar, AudioChan, and a few others, but I'm waiting until I know which one works best for my listeners.

Idunno if making more content at this point is something I can do with how much work I'm already doing. Besides, trying to get everyone's interests is incredibly difficult.

Hmmm… I suppose lowering the prices is the best out of the listed options, but I personally think adding a bit more variety to the roles/stories would be the smartest way to make the prices feel worth it for the listeners without lowering the amount of funds you bring in from your hard work. I know for me personally, talent and creativity in VAs is important, but the thing that really determines if I’ll keep coming back for more is whether or not their content regularly satisfies my often very specific desires. If even a super talented and non-expensive VA only rarely comes out with content that scratches that itch for me, I’m way less likely to continue paying for their content. So theoretically, I think that maybe if you tried branching out a bit more with your content (without completely neglecting your current predetermined content), that might statistically increase the odds of your audios scratching each listeners’ unique interests. Cast a wider net, ya know? But again, that’s just my two cents as a casual listener and for all I know that could be the worst advice for you lol. I hope you’re able to find an answer that satisfies us listeners without putting you at a disadvantage 💜

For sure. Trying to make things more accessible and affordable for listeners in a time of economic turmoil is kind of important to me. Not just for NSFW work, because I know there are plenty of people who also enjoy my SFW content as well. But platforms are making it hard for VAs and writers to do both

Well, objectively lowering costs is a pretty big deciding factor since I have a limited amount of money to go towards entertainment each month... But that's not always a viable option for making MORE money, y'know, lowering prices. It's a hard decision. Overall I think my number one factor when deciding who to support comes down to the TYPE of content they make. A lot of generic things can be found for free on pornhub and GWA and similar places, so I wind up only supporting people who are making my particular niche of content that's hard to find (monsterfucking, I mean monsterfucking). I've had pretty good luck with subscribestar and follow two artists on there that produce content Patreon doesn't allow which is... getting pretty broad now. I suspect before long that will be the only place I pay for content from, since I wouldn't be surprised if that one winds up being the next big place for NSFW content producers. Their customer service is also markedly better than Patreon's, from the consumer side of things anyway. For free content, soundcloud and audiochan both seem to work fine. I don't really prefer one over the other since they have their pros and cons each. I don't personally like pornhub; its video interface makes listening on mobile annoying (why should I have to have the video up on my phone?! let me minimize, you little shits!) and it's not transparent at all about what kind of content it allows, plus there's always ongoing privacy concerns as people target NSFW sites like it.

Being in Texas, I cant even use the Hub

Im sorry to hear that youtubes being idiotic as usual lately for you and others. Especially cause I've been really enjoying the analog series alot. I don't think the the solution is to add more to an already packed schedule Especially since you've explained about taking time away from it for the holiday season (family always comes first) so I think maybe the best course of action to take right now is maybe lowering the prices to what you suggested. If patreon becomes more accessible in terms of funding that'll not only help draw people in but have them keep memberships active longer. And if you do decide to put your more spicier content on different platforms maybe try to avoid the Hub. Alot of asmrtist and audio rp use that as an alternative but some don't realize that due to political affairs it's become no longer accessible in some states. I've heard the the app Quinn is a good choice but I haven't used it very much so I'm not too familiar with it (I know audios put on that app need charged I don't know if they have a free access setting you can place on the content but it might be worth looking into. Another alternative for spice audios is Discord you can make a private discord server that patreon members can access if they link their discord to patreon accounts. Hope this helped and I hope that all this nonsense with youtube algorithm passes soon wishing you and your family a happy holiday season 😊
